No77 High Street is a pretty, grade II listed cottage ideally placed to walk to all attractions within historic Lavenham. A few doors down from a Coop - well stocked with provisions for your stay. Recently completely refurbished, all furnishings are new, including new beds with SIMBA mattresses, top quality bed linen and towels. To the rear is a terrace - a sheltered spot for breakfast al-fresco. It has a lockable rear entrance for secure cycle and pushchair storage. Car park 100m away. The space The cottage has a cosy sitting room that seats 4 comfortably. There is an inner hallway with space to hang coats, leading to a downstairs bathroom. At the rear is a good sized Kitchen/Diner with table and chairs for 4. There are sliding doors to the rear terrace with comfortable garden furniture, and the wash house which has a second toilet/sink and washer/dryer. The terrace has a rear entrance to a small lane. The terrace is lockable for secure storage for bikes. Upstairs are two bedrooms, the first bedroom has a King size bed, the second bedroom has two full size single beds. Guest access There is free parking on the High Street outside the cottage, but we recommend the small free (donations requested) carpark in Prentice Street. To access drive to the Market Square and take the road next to the Angel hotel, take the first left into the carpark. From this carpark you can walk through an archway onto the lane at the rear of the cottage. Other things to note Please note that No77 has the original staircase, which is quite steep and narrow. This may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties. The bathroom is downstairs.
