Premium Lodge at Blackthorn Gate

Blackthorn Gate comprises four luxury holiday lodges, situated on the border of North Yorkshire and Tees Valley. Set in 230 acres of open farmland the lodges have been specifically designed and positioned with the huge windows at the front facing directly at Roseberry Topping so you can enjoy uninterrupted views of this glorious landmark. The lodges are spacious and airy and can accommodate either 4 or 5 guests depending on the lodge. Mobility aids are available for use in the lodges. The space Skylark and Lapwing lodges both suitable for wheel chair access they have two levels. On the first floor is the main bedroom with king sized bed, wardrobe, bedside draws and lights and alarm clock /radio. there is a railed balustrade which looks down over the living dining area. There is an en suite wet room with shower, toilet hand basin and electric shaver point. On the ground floor they have a second bedroom with a single and double bed with draws underneath, bedside draws and lamp and a large wardrobe with a draw. The kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher,fridge,freezer,microwave, toaster, kettle, oven and hob, a full set of crockery and cutlery and a comprehensive range of kitchen utensils and saucepans. There is a combined living and dining area with a terrace off. The living area has two sofas and a high backed chair, TV, DVD player, CD radio,coffee table, floor lamp and rug. The dining area has a dining table and chairs and is directly off the kitchen. The ground floor bathroom has a bath, toilet and wet room shower area the shower area is wheel chair accessible and we have a number of aids, wheeled shower seat, toilet frame zimmer frame, swivel transfer platform for moving between chairs. The sauna is off the downstairs bathroom. The final room is a utility room with worktop, coat hooks, ironing board, iron,vacuum cleaner brushes mops and buckets. Outside each lodge is a hot tub which seats six people and is available at an additional cost, please contact venue direct to book and pay. There is an onsite laundry with a washing machine and tumble dryer and a games room with table tennis, pool and bar football
