Welcome to our waterfront cottage nestled in a quiet area of Wakefield on a 2 acre property. The two level 1,800sf cottage has been carefully designed to integrate with nature with large floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. Come relax and recharge in nature. Plenty of activities to do: swim from the dock, canoe/kayak, fish, bike, golf, ski, explore the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, etc. (CITQ#304057. Up to 2 additional guests can be added to the reservation with a fee of 75$ per guest per night* The cottage is riverfront and is a 10 min drive from the charming Wakefield Village. The place was designed to integrate with nature. The main floor is a bright open concept space with floor-to-ceiling windows which overlook the river below. Keep the blinds up in the main bathroom and you'll enjoy the unique experience of showering/bathing in the forest! The concrete radiant flooring throughout the cottage is a delight to the feet... There are 3 bedrooms (2 Kings, 1 Queen) and two full bathrooms. There is also a level 2 (32 AMP) EV charger. The kitchen is well-equipped for all your culinary needs. The large wrap around deck with BBQ is perfect for winding down. The private dock area provides direct access to the river and there is a kayak and life jackets for guest use. It is the ideal setting to disconnect (there is no television on purpose), relax and recharge in nature.
