Nungaroo Cottage is the classic timber slab mountain getaway privately set amongst cool climate gardens in a peaceful setting. Surrounded by quiet bushland trails, the property is home to a myriad of farm animals including rescue donkeys and horses who are always happy to see you if you have a carrot in your hand! We also have a resident rooster who crows "whenever he feels like it" and this is not restricted to business hours! Light sleepers beware. Grab a glass of your favourite beverage, sit back and relax in the hot tub, as the sun disappears below the horizon. - Features: - Large open plan living room with cosy combustion fire and split system air-conditioning all opening through large barn doors to the courtyard and the garden beyond. - Well-equipped kitchenette with bench top portable oven, hotplate, microwave, fridge. and Aldi coffee pod machine. - Comfortable queen-sized bed on this level with quality linen - Enjoy watching the fire from the comfort of your bed! Please note that the main queen bed is in the same space as the living room, much like a studio apartment - Good-sized bathroom. (no bath) - The loft area also has a king bed that can be split into two single beds - Please request this at the time of booking if required and note that a split bed fee will be charged. - Outdoor, cedar hot tub. - Lovely cool climate gardens and plenty of places to wander. - Covered verandah with BBQ and private terrace area. iRIS Property prides itself on providing Eco-friendly stays throughout the mountains. No parties, functions, schoolies or other gatherings are permitted. Please note that only registered guest numbers are allowed at the property. Note - Full reservation payment is due seven days prior to check in. For Christmas & Easter periods full payment is due thirty days prior to arrival.
