Shasta Sunrise Retreat|HotTub|NOW w/ 1 Night Stay!

Relax and take in the views of Shasta Lake. This home is nestled in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest just between Mt. Shasta and Redding. Our 3,000sq home sits at the end of a quiet road. Enjoy the wilderness from our hiking trail on 7 acres, you could spend your entire trip here, but within a short distance you could explore so much more the area has to offer, hiking, waterfalls, lakes, caves & more! We accept pets on a case-by-case basis & Now offering a 1 night stay @shasta_sunrise_retreat The space The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to whip up a great meal. Including a Weber BBQ on the deck. The dining table seats 10 comfortably. If your phone allows wifi calling, you will be able to make calls and send text from the cabin. There is NO regular cell service once you leave the freeway (5 miles away). There are 3 full bathrooms on each floor. The Great Room has sofa seating for 10+, and awesome windows to stargaze or watch the sunrise. It sits at the center of the house and open to the kitchen and dining areas. The Master bedroom is on the main floor and has a king sized bed, & a mini roll out crib. The sliding door off the master room leads to the main deck. Upstairs, the guest bedroom includes a queen sized bed, and its own small deck with spectacular views from the top floor. There is a portable crib in the closet. (Pack-n-play) Both bedrooms have ceiling fans, all bed linens, pillows and blankets. The upstairs loft is a great place for kids. There is a triple bunk bed, a futon, small TV, library area with lots of toys and book. There also is another sliding door leading to a small deck. The loft opens up to the Great room below, and we expect all our guest to supervise their children playing upstairs and on the decks. In the downstairs living room, there is a Big Smart TV with surround sound, you can log into your streaming accounts with this smart-TV, we are on Starlink satellite Internet and it works great, although it could be disrupted with bad weather. Fortunately, we also have Double-Shot, Air Hockey, and Foosball for entertainment. Next to the TV area is a built in bunk bed. There is also a queen wall bed that can be opened if need the extra sleeping space. The laundry room is at the bottom of the stairs, and a full bathroom. The main deck is where the BBQ can be found, a table for 6 with umbrella and a bar table for 6 with a umbrella (during spring/summer). Also a fun tip; during our warm summer nights if you request we can supply you with cots if you'd like to sleep under the stars on the deck. The hot tub is a great place to look at the stars. No children may enter the hot tub without adult supervision! There is a hiking trail to the bottom of the property. It is relatively steep, and approximately 1/2 mile round-trip. Remember you are in the forest (bears and mountain lion territory) you should alway hike with a buddy. The view comes with steep terrain, and you should be comfortable using stairs to enjoy our cabin. There are also a number of steep places on the property, poison oak, rattle snakes, animals ect. and it is important to be aware of small children during your stay. This cabin is a great place for families who are aware of their surroundings. Guest access For a 1 night stay (avail M, T, W, TH & Sun) 4 people max we ask that you limit use to just the amenities on the main floor, the down stairs game room. Other things to note !!For ONE NIGHT STAYS...(available case by case) ...Just send over a inquiry to see if we can accommodate you (4 guest max). *Please respect the neighbors. Our cabin is peaceful, beautiful place to visit, but we do not allow parties or loud music. *Although our home accommodates up to 14 people, any groups over 6 ADULTS must get pre-approval. *If your stay is over 2 days you may see me maintaining the hot tub. I will not need to come inside.
