That's why Wheeler Peak Lodge Event Center @ 8,406 feet elevation provides the perfect destination to reach new heights with your colleagues. The large group facilities are designed to accommodate up to 44 persons and are available to book year-round. The area offers group programs to help you achieve a range of goals, from building morale to developing leadership. Summertime activities include high-adventure ziplining, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, hiking excursions, mountain bike trips, fishing, golf, and tennis. In the winter there is alpine & cross-country skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, and snowmobiling. Unite your organization by getting outdoors!

The Wheeler Peak Lodge is separated into two wings with a community room/kitchen in the middle. Each wing sleeps up to 22 in bunk room compartments (44 total). Each side has three separate showers, three separate toilets, and four sinks. Linens, blankets, and towels are provided. The community room has a game table, sofas, large flat-screen TV with ROKU streaming, and a pool table. The kitchen is part of the community area and is equipped with an electric range with vent hood, drip coffeemaker, refrigerator with freezer top, a commercial refrigerator, and a commercial freezer. There is an additional full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The large glass doors open to a large, covered patio which offers views of a meadow frequented by wildlife. In the background is Wheeler Peak, the highest point in New Mexico. Enjoy cookouts on the patio with the use of the flattop grill and fresh mountain air. With four seasons of adventure, Wheeler Peak Lodge Event Center is the best option for your next corporate outing.

INSURANCE: Most reservations come with accidental damage insurance, should you have an accident in the home. The Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 OR $1,000,000 coverage for property damage and bodily injury depending on the property.

ANGEL FIRE RESORT: Wintertime offers several mountain activities, such as downhill and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, snow-tubing, and sports lessons. Summertime, the outdoor fun continues with mountain biking, zip-lining, scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, hiking, pickle-ball, and fishing.

ANGEL FIRE COUNTRY CLUB: Open to the public. A fitness center and indoor heated pool are available for a small fee. Fine dining and full bar at Elements.

GOLF COURSES: Angel Fire Resort Golf Course (1.7 miles), Valley Escondido Golf Course (12.9 miles)

DAY TRIPS: Taos and Taos Pueblo Village (24.9 miles), Taos Ski Valley (43.7 miles), Rio Grande Gorge Bridge (36.6 miles), and Santa Fe (92.6 miles)

During the winter months, please keep in mind you are traveling to the mountains. All our properties are maintained by professional snow-plowmen; we make every effort to ensure the property is accessible upon arrival. However, please be prepared for extreme weather conditions. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended. Resort Properties of Angel Fire cannot be responsible for guests unable to reach the booked property due to a lack of a 4WD/AWD vehicle.
