Carvoeiro is a lovely, family friendly town. From Carvoeiro beach runs regular boat trips to the vast array of caves and caverns in the area. Carvoeiro offers numerous superb bars and restaurants and many open-air musical events throughout the summer months. Furthermore, it is nearby to 3 golf courses, a water park, tennis courts, scuba diving centre, winery and a whole array of other activities and beaches. The apartment comprises of an open plan living / dining / kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven & hob, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, breakfast bar and extendable table that can seat up to 4 guests. The chic living room has a smart Tv and large window overlooking the town. The master bedroom is a spacious room with double bed, en-suite shower room and french windows. Inside the house is an information book with emergency contact numbers and useful information about the house and the local area. Guests are also provided with a 24h contact number so they can contact the property manager in the event of a problem or with regards to any questions pertaining to the house. The apartment is easy walking distance from amenities and the town beach. Buses are available for those looking to travel further afield. Local taxi firm numbers are provided in the house information book and there is a taxi rank in the centre of Carvoeiro. Tourist tax Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7. Guest access Guests will have the sole use of the apartment and roof terrace.
