Nordvann Cabin is a newly refreshed 3 bedroom lakefront cabin nestled in Northwoods Mercer. On a full recreational lake with private pier and sandy shore. The bedrooms provide a queen-sized master bed. The corner bed is a cozy full-sized bed and the last provides a bunk bed with a full/twin-sized bed. The cabin also has two queen-sized pull-out sofas, a game room with a poker table and arcade game along with a bar for entertaining. Its 74' of eastern shores provide the best sunsets in the area. Styled to reflect our Norwegian family cabin, Nordvann brings a simple coziness to the living space. The lake brings back the memories we built with our grandparents, being able to go out fishing and enjoying the sunsets from the dock. The tranquility of the lake makes for great canoeing and the tall pines tower over head as the camp fire calls everyone for marshmallows. The game room and bar allow for things to stay up a bit later without disrupting those sleeping upstairs. Private pier is available. The garage will be partially available in the winter (the boat takes up a space in the garage) We love hearing from our guests! Generally you will only see them on weekends and holidays. Please respect their property and desire for the peaceful respite that Echo Lake offers. The park across the street is great for kids and adults. The ATV/UTV/Snowmobile trails are just on the opposite side of Hwy J and allow you to get almost anywhere in the area. Downtown Mercer is less than a mile away. It's a 15 minute walk, a 5 minute bike ride or a short ride. UTVs and Snowmobiles are frequently used and there is parking downtownright off the trail on Railroad St. from there you are moments away from restaurants, bars and shopping. Great location to many ski hills: Scenic 35 min drive to several ski hills, including Mt Zion, Snowriver, Big Powerhorn in UP and Whitecap and Minocqua Winterpark in WI. We have firewood, two kayaks and fishing boat available for rental for guests. We offer an armful of firewood for each guest. If you plan on using more firewood, we ask for $5 a bundle with provided QR code. We have been successful using the honor system and hope we can continue this system. for use of the fishing boat, please contact us for more information. Note: water shoes are recommended if swimming next at the dock for all the clams in the water.
