You will be staying in a 30 foot 2005 Alpenlite travel trailer located on our 5 acre wooded property. Fully furnished with central heat & air. full size kitchen with oven, stove and microwave. Hosts live on the property and are available if needed. Coffee and tea fixings can be found in the kitchen. Enjoy living in peace amongst the woods. You are a short walk from hiking trails and 60 minutes from Lake Tahoe. Pack for powder--there's plenty of skiing and snowboarding in the forecast. The space Located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, at about 2,250 feet elevation, you will be nearby the small and quaint towns of Auburn and Colfax. About 45 minutes from Sacramento. You have a nice front porch deck to sit and relax watching the wild turkeys and deer wander by. Listen for the crunching oak leaves and there will be an animal near by. There is a full roof built over the Prowler which keeps wind and rain noises at bay. There is an a/c to keep you cool and heat for winter to keep you warm. We have stocked the kitchen with some basic dishes, pots & pans, utensils, cooking oil, salt & pepper and coffee maker along with coffee and black teas. Plenty of towels, shampoo and body wash are provided. Within 4 miles there are two local markets and a handful of local diners as well as a few fast food places. The Prowler has a queen bed, foldout couch and dining table that converts to a single bed. Ideal for a small child. Here are some points of interest and about how long it takes to get there. Historic Auburn – 10 minutes Lots to explore in this area since you are in the middle of Gold Country! Visit any of these and learn of the rich history of the area: • Placer County Historical Museum • Auburn Joss House Chinese Museum • Bernhard Museum Complex • Placer County Courthouse • Gold Country Museum All are about 15 minutes away. Guest access You will have full access of the Alpenlite trailer as well as the areas around. The paved roads in this neighborhood are nice walks and during July & August there are wild blackberries that can be picked. We ask that no outbuildings are accessed. Other things to note We do have wildlife all around so ask that all food is kept in the trailer and that no trash is ever outside the trailer. We prefer no smoking in or around the premises, thank you. We are happy to host longer stays and do give a great discount to 28 days or more.
