Please note that our estate embraces a rustic glamping experience, perfect for those who appreciate being close to nature and can find joy in imperfections that may arise on an island. While power outages and water issues may occur, we strive to rectify any problems promptly. However, during short stays, it may not always be possible to resolve them immediately, as acquiring services and parts takes time on the island. Many of these are out of our control. We believe that these occasional challenges need to become part of the unique experience and shouldn't detract from the beauty of your escape. Let us introduce you to the various accommodations available for your group (subject to change): Coach House Up: An upstairs studio with a kitchen, bathroom, and majestic views. Sleeping arrangements include a queen bed and cot. Coach House Down: An open space featuring a lounge area, fridge, sofa bed, and sofa. This is an indoor space for your group to gather. Garden Cabin: A charming studio with a mini fridge, kitchenette, queen bed, 3-piece washroom, deck, and scenic views. Sleeping arrangements include a queen bed and cot. BUNK: Two single beds (please bring your own sleeping bags). Bell Tent: Experience glamping at its finest with all the comforts of a queen bed. As a bonus, the caretaker home, typically not rented, is available for your use when you book the entire estate. This quirky 1902 house, settled over time and in need of some TLC, offers a unique charm. It features a king bed, sofa bed, kitchen, and 3-piece washroom. Total Bed Arrangements: King: 1 Queen: 3 Sofa Bed: 2 Single Bed: 2 Single Cot: 2 Please note that due to water shortages, the maximum occupancy is limited to 12 people in summer. Also while we hope the cleaners will do an acceptable job please do not expect perfection, unfortunately staffing is challenging and we take who we can get and are grateful for it. Remember to bring your towels and kindly pack out all garbage, as this is an island environment that values environmental preservation. Water conservation is crucial on the Gulf Islands, and we kindly ask that you minimize water wastage. Take short showers, avoid letting taps run unnecessarily, and fill the sink when washing dishes. While we no longer provide a BBQ due to cleanliness concerns, you're welcome to bring your own. However, we do offer a small portable outdoor stove for your convenience. Other things to note This is a quiet rural location. Loud noise travels and neighbours will complain so please only quiet groups. It's important guests know cleaning staff on this small island is limited and not always the best, we are just happy we have someone (they are hard to get). But guests do need to know there may be dust and cobwebs that get missed and cleans are not perfect, this happens in this remote location. If you are particular about cleanliness thisay not be the best fit. Pender Island has a water shortage so please conserve. Do not leave water running and if it's yellow let it mellow. Also please pack out your garbage and recycling since everything needs to be taken of the island. The grounds are shared with other guests so please be respectful with noise. Quiet hours after 10pm. We want everyone to experience tranquillity. Please try to bring towels and kindly pack out all garbage since this is an island. WATER CONSERVATION is vital on the Gulf Islands. Don't let water run (ie sinks while brushing teeth, fill sink to wash dishes) and take short showers.
