A spacious free-standing apartment featuring gorgeous Tassie Oak timbers, light-filled spaces, views & everything you'll need to enjoy your Hobart stay in comfort! You'll love the proximity to the edge of the River Derwent - less than a minute's walk - with it's incredible views over Mt. Wellington/Kunanyi & the wonderful-to-walk or ride Clarence Foreshore Trail! Nearby Lindisfarne Village offers shopping & cafes and it's just 10min drive or Uber to Hobart CBD or MONA & 15min to the Airport! The space You'll be surprised by the privacy, spaciousness of every aspect of the apartment & overall comfort - we've put our hearts & souls into making this a space that we love & one that we hope that you'll love & we've had many guests enjoy stays spanning weeks or even months here! :-) The well-equipped kitchenette is generously proportioned & offers a double sink, full size pantry, dishwasher & large refrigerator. As a kitchenette, there is no inbuilt oven, stove or range hood, but we have provided two plug-in induction cook-tops, a convection bench-top multi-oven, microwave, Lavazza pod coffee machine & all you'll need to prepare great food! The living area offers comfortable lounge & dining seating areas, Samsung Smart TV with access to digital TV channels, Netflix, Youtube & other major Apps (please login to your favourite Apps or use the casting function to cast/stream your app content from your device to the TV). The main bedroom is just off the living area and offers a King size bed with comfy Ecosa mattress, topper & extra bedding in case needed. The bathroom/toilet/laundry area has a large walk in tile shower with excellent water pressure, beautiful custom timber joinery & new washer/dryer. Upstairs in the mezzanine area there is a Split King bed. This will be set up as 2 singles unless you request this be configured as a King bed (please note this can only be done for requests made before housekeeping for the preceding stay is completed). Open the large living area timber & glass sliders you can access your own private lawn area - perfect for a picnic or reading a book. To the right you'll find our little outdoor table & seating area & a giant BBQ! Off-street parking is not available here, but our quiet neighbourhood street is safe & you can park right out front of the gate to the apartment. Bikes, surfboards etc can be brought in :-) Guest access You'll have access to all areas of the apartment & private use of the courtyard/lawn area during your stay :-) Other things to note 1 - The main house at 4 Short Street will also be occupied as holiday accommodation or the owners will be living there. The properties have seperate access & do not share amenities. 2 - The mezzanine area is not suitable for young children because of the steep spiral stair & the fall risk associated with an upstairs loft area. If you have children please contact us with their age & ability so we may discuss. 3 - The mezzanine area is lower than normal head height & will not be ideal for elderly or tall guests. 4 - There are no blinds or shutters on the small upstairs bedroom window.
