Casa d'Artista Plus is facing on the sea-view garden of plants and sculptures and it has 2 rooms decorated with old arches and original conteporary art works. It is located in the centre of Scarlino, a medieval village on the hills overlooking the coast of Tuscany's Maremma, an area rich in history and Etruscan sites, natural and artistic beauties. It is located in the House/Studio where the owners also live, the artist Mauro Corbani and his wife Laura, psychologist. The space Casa d'Artista Plus (56 sqm) has 2 private entrance facing on the sea-view garden of plants and sculptures and 2 rooms: 1 living/bedroom with 1 double bed + 2 comfortable sofa beds (for 2 single beds or 1 double bed with 1 matress added for a greater comfort) in the other room, a private bathroom. If you are only 2, the smaller room will become a nice sitting-room. On request we can arrange a chicco bed for a baby. A cooking area and a fridge are also available. It is an historical apartment with old arches and decorated with original contemporary art works. There is a beautiful private sea view garden, that has also sculptures by the artist, where the guests of our 2 apartments can relax and eat. Each apartment has its own space with table and benches , deckchairs and sun beds. Everyone can visit the artist's workshop, while he is working too. It is also possible to receive etchings lessons from the artist. You can park your bicycles and motorbike into the garden. Guest access We rent all year round. As an alternative to the high Summer season, Spring and Autumn are colorful and peaceful, the Winter is mild and offers breathtaking sunsets. In the village you will find grocery stores, bars and restaurants, cash machine, bank and post office, Red Cross and Police Station, library and museum. We suggest the use of your own vehicle for getting around and visiting the surroundings. A few steps from the House, there are free parkings. The beaches are 10 minutes driving. There are many paths for trekking and mountain bikes. The harbour is a few kilometres from the Centre. In general we do not accept animals but we can talk about it if you have small and well-behaved dogs that you will never have to leave alone. It is absolutely forbidden to smoke inside the apartment. Other things to note We are in the ZTL area and it is possible to reach the apartment by car only for loading/unloading luggage and subject to authorization from the Municipal Police. By sending us your car's license plate, we will take care of obtaining the limited traffic access permit for your arrival and departure.
