"Surf Mist Cottage" is located in Currarong, a quiet village at the northern peninsular of Jervis Bay. The pristine beaches and laid back vibe of this village has people returning here again and again for short or long get aways. The space "Surf Mist Cottage" is located on the South Coast of NSW in the small fishing village of Currarong, about 2 1/2 hrs drive from sydney and 3 hrs from Canberra. Currarong is a great all-year-round getaway destination, it is a quiet fishing village at the end of the road on the northern penisular of Jervis bay and Beefcroft headland. Once you park your car here there wont be much need for it again till you leave. Most activities you can walk or ride your bike to. There are a wide variety of bush walks, some to pristine swimming and snorkling locations, some to lead to some of the largest cliffs in NSW, don't forget your camera on those walks. The beaches here are the primary reason for visitors, the beaches around Currarong, Beefcroft headland and Jervis Bay are among the most beautiful and pristine you will find in Australia. And most water sports can be accommodated. Surf Mist Cottage is located 150m from the natural rock pool and child friendly Bossom Beach, but if you need a more challenging wave there are great surfing locations nearby also. The property has a main house and a granny flat on a large block. The main house has 2 large bedrooms with queen beds in each, one bathroom a large eat-in kitchen and a separate large living space. The Granny flat is a large space, and although there are divider walls, there are no enclosed private rooms in there. The bed configuration in the granny flat is 2 queen beds and one double bed and clothes drawers and racks provided also. The granny flat has its own bathroom, and the laundry facilities are located here also. Most recently there has been renovations to the house, extending the living area into a spacious completely covered outdoor deck. With a wall mounted TV, couches and an oversized table and chairs, it has become essentially an outdoor living room. We are very proud of this space and think it makes spending lazy afternoons in Currarong just perfect! At the back of the yard there is a fully fenced dog run and kennel, so four legged members of the family are welcome if prior arrangement is made*. **Please note, this is a BYO linen property. We will provide donnas, blankets, pillows. You will need to bring your own Sheets, pillow cases and towels. **Please note that over the christmas/summer school holiday peak season, week long bookings only will only be considered. The week to week turn around will be on a saturday (ie. check in on saturday afternoon, checkout saturday morning).
