Boasting the best views in the Village

Take some time out & enjoy a stay at this stunning recent build located in an outdoors paradise. Simple but practical you will find everything you need when returning from an adventure-filled day. 5 ski-fields providing a variety of terrain are all within a 1/2 hour drive. World class bouldering is only 5 minutes away at Castle Hill scenic reserve, or if you are wanting something a little more mellow then a walk around these same boulders will have you in awe. Please see note about cleaning. The space The house is light and airy with windows galore to let the sun in and capture the unique landscape of the surrounding ranges. Being new it is fully insulated and double glazed. The builder had a blast trying out some cool interior finishing techniques to set this place apart from the crowds. Open plan living and kitchen makes it an ideal space for kicking back and relaxing. In the cooler winter months the log burner easily keeps the house toasty warm. Bedroom 1 is located off the hall. It has a queen bed with a wardrobe and storage space for bags. Bedroom 2 is found upstairs off the large landing area. Spacious and airy, it can sleep up to 4 with one queen bed, a single and a pull out mattress/futon. Linen sets for each bed and towels are provided. Other things to note Linen/towels provided. No wifi! Please note that the village is over an hour's drive from Christchurch, so please make sure you stock up on groceries and other supplies before you escape the rat race. There are no supermarkets in the area, and it's a 20 minute drive down to Springfield to refuel. For bookings made after 30th January 2025: Cleaning fee added, no need to self clean (have secured regular cleaner). For bookings made before 30th January 2025: The house works on a traditional kiwi bach self-clean basis due to our remote location and difficulties organising a regular cleaner (our lovely neighbour kindly takes care of the linen). However, if you'd like to keep the holiday vibes going and would rather not clean at the end of your stay, please let me know and I can organise a cleaner for an extra fee of $75 (with plenty of prior notice I can arrange for a cleaner to travel). We like to give our guests the option as we know all those added fees do creep up! We just ask that guests leave the house as they would hope to find it :) All cleaning products are provided and you don't need to worry about washing linen.
