The space ALMAPETRA was born in the heart of the Itria Valley with the aim of enhancing the immense and unmistakable heritage of our land: the trulli. The name ALMAPETRA, from the Latin "Pietra che nutre" (nourishing stone), is a tribute to the noble material with which the entire structure was built. Created from an existing group of trulli, from which it recovers part of the internal flooring, the property is spread over 5 apartments, for a total of 14 trulli and 4 cummerse, made entirely of local stone by skilled trullari masters. Many of the stones used were extracted and recovered from the ground and worked during the renovation works. Every single trullo was built in full respect of traditional techniques, while current technologies have allowed us to guarantee a high level of comfort in every season of the year, without affecting the typicality and uniqueness of these unique rural works. Almapetra was designed with due attention to the environment that surrounds us. The stone walls, up to one meter thick, allow for natural thermoregulation that makes the trulli cool in summer and warm in winter. In addition, the property is equipped with photovoltaic and solar panels, underfloor heating, with adjustment of the desired temperature in each room, thermostatic faucets and various sensors that, in a discreet manner, in addition to ensuring maximum comfort, ensure a wise reduction in energy consumption. We will be happy to host you in an area of 4000 sqm, immersed in the magical and timeless atmosphere of the trulli, including a large swimming pool with children's area/solarium, a traditional threshing floor used as a relaxation area, themed gardens with fruit trees, Mediterranean shrubs and a vegetable garden with seasonal crops, a large private indoor parking lot and the usual hospitality of the staff at your complete disposal.
