Parthenon and New Acropolis Museum are also visible from the living room. The apartment is accessible by elevator and consists of two separate bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom, a WC, a hall with a desktop, one terrace in the front and one balcony at the back. This modernly decorated apartment is luminous and comfortable, suitable for different needs and tastes. While you are entering the house there is a spacious living room and a dining room at your right hand with parquet floors and a beautiful terrace with a sitting area, aromatic plants and olive trees and extraordinary view. At the outdoor dining area you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner while having in front of you the most magnificent creation of Athenian democracy, the Parthenon, beautifully illuminated at night and full of spectacular colors at dawn and sunset. The living room is equipped with a relaxing couch, a sofa double bed, an armchair and a 40’’ 4K SMART TV with free Netflix and an integrated Media Player and USB port that you can use to play your own music, videos or movies. Next to the living room is a luxurious indoor dining area decorated with wooden elements and equipped with board games. The first bedroom features a king double bed and the second features two single beds, perfectly equipped with extremely comfortable mattresses, linen and pillows of the finest quality in order to provide an outstanding sleeping experience. Both rooms are equipped with air condition devices, closets, and 32’’ TV. There is also a safe deposit box in the double room. The apartment features a bathroom with a shower and a WC. This artistically designed bathroom with a unique combination of black and white elements, white pebbles, dark grey tiles, wooden surfaces and white wall tiles in the form of rocks will provide you moments of indulgence and relaxation. The bathroom is fully equipped with towels of high quality, a hairdryer, first aid kit and amenities by the luxurious Greek toiletries brand “Korres” (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body milk and soap). The apartment’s kitchen is fully equipped with Nespresso coffee machine, filter-coffee machine, electric stove, oven, toaster, electric kettle, kitchenware, dishwasher, microwave ,refrigerator, freezer, teapot with free tea and herbs, coffee supplies (greek, filter, Nespresso, Lavazza or Jacobs), dining table and cleaning products. The residence has 4 air-condition units, one in the living room, one in the kitchen and one in each bedroom, as well as central heating operating during winter months. The WIFI is free and available all day. The water is potable. Hot water is available during the whole day either by the solar water heater or the boiler. There are also available a washing machine, iron, ironing facilities, clothes rack, electric blanket and a drying rack for clothing (on use in winter months). A baby cot can be provided and placed in the apartment upon request, at no extra cost. The apartment, located in the heart of Athens, is easily accessible by all means of public transport, as well as, by car. Tranfer: We can arrange a pick up for you and a transfer from/to the airport/port upon request and at extra cost. Depending on the number of passengers, we can arrange either a taxi (1-3 persons) or a private mini-van (4-7 persons) with an English speaking driver waiting for you with a sign at the arrivals area after customs, help you with your luggage and transfer you directly to the apartment. Public Transportation (please ask for specific directions): Airport You can also use the Metro from the airport (change 2 lines) or a bus from the airport and then take the metro to the apartment (metro station “Acropolis” is 2 minutes away from the house). Port You can also use the train from the port and then take the metro or the tram to the apartment (tram station “Leoforos Vouliagmenis” is 3 minutes away from the house) or directly a bus from the port to the apartment. Depending on your preference we will provide you with detailed directions prior to your arrival. Car: In case you have your own car a 24h parking can be arranged at a nearby trusted parking lot at extra cost (2 minutes walking distance from the apartment). We are available 24/7 for any information, recommendation or assistance you may need before, during and after your arrival (through sms, phone call, imessage, whats App, Viber, email, platform application). The building sits next to the vibrant pedestrian Makrigiani Street which leads directly to all the major landmarks and areas of the city. The residence is located in one of the most central parts of the city. Most of the major landmarks are within walking distance. Metro, tram station (connecting the apartment with Floisvos Marina and seaside) and various bus stations are 2 minutes away (walking distance) from the apartment and can lead you everywhere in the center or in any other place you may want to visit; for food, drink, nightlife, events, cruise, port and airport and plenty of beautiful Mediterranean beaches. Also, the station of the hop on hop off open-top buses “City Sightseeing Athens-Piraeus-Beaches” and Athens Happy Train is right in front of the apartment. Acropolis View Deluxe Penthouse is the ideal baseline to start every different walking exploration you may want to choose. Walking through the picturesque streets of Plaka (3 min away) you can reach Anafiotica, Monastiraki and Ancient Agora of Athens, or you can choose to head towards the pedestrian Dionisiou Areopagitou Street (3 min away), walk parallel to Acropolis Hill and then reach Thisseion, Keramikos, Gkazi, Monastiraki, and Psirri area or you can start your route from Temple of Olympian Zeus, Zappeion and Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro) and head to Syntagma square, visit Ermou street (shopping spot) and Agia Irini Church square or Kolonaki area (Shopping Spot and nightlife). All these attraction are so close that you can start from one walking option and end to the other. Check in & Check out We will welcome you in person at the apartment upon your check in and we will provide you with all the necessary information and tips regarding the apartment appliances, the local area and the city. In order for the apartment to be cleaned and prepared, the check in time is after 15:00 and the check out time is until 11:00 at the morning. In the case that you have a flight leaving later on there is a nearby low cost luggage storage that you can leave your luggage (1 minute walking distance).
