Villa in Crete with private pool and barbecue

Villa Balsam is a 172 sq.m. house built in a 850 sq.m. plot near the village Kato Valsamonero in Rethymno,Crete. The villa is suitable for 7-10 persons (4 bedrooms) and has a private pool with deckchairs and parasols. The space The villa has renovated since 2012 and it provides all the comforts and amenities for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It is a three-level building. On the first level, there is a garden with local herbs such as dittany,marjoram,sage,verbena,lavender,oregano,rosemary,etc all of which are used as cooking herbs or as a beverage. There is also a playgarden in order for children to enjoy. On the second level, there is a big yard with spectacular and breathtaking views of the village and the vicinity. From there can see the White Mountains (aka.Lefka Ori Massif or Madares) and Mt.Krioneritis.The villa is two-floor.On the ground floor there is a fully-equipped kitchen,a dining room,a living room, as well as a toilet with wheelchair access.On the first floor there are four bedrooms, a toilet and a WC. There are two man switch boards behind the main entrance (A and B).The outdoor lights in the garden,yard and the floodlights can be switched on from board B. However, the cooker and the boiler can be switched on from board A. Furthermore, there are two solar power energy boilers ad in case there is not heat enough water, you can heat some using electric power,just by pressing the button.Do not turn if off,it will switch off automatically. The kitchen has all the appliances and their function is really easy. The lights of the indoors and outdoors areas are switched on: In the main entrance there is a light control system with a removable card,by removing the card, the lights and all the appliances switch off automatically. The fridge and the outdoor lights are the only ones which remain turned on. On the third level, there are swimming pool,a barbeque and coals to use. There are logs for the stone oven on the corridor behing the house. We would like to ask you to be very careful when using the barbeque or the stone oven in order to avoid a fire. In case of fire, there is a fire extinguisher and a tap with a long hose next to the barbecue and at the villa’s door house. The water of the house is potable and it is of high quality. There are some sights at the village which is worth visiting, such as “Pano Vrisi” and “Kato Vrisi”, the old church of Saint John and the Monastery of Virgin Mary. Guest access You can visit Rethymnon old town,Fortezza fortress,Krini Rimondi,local archaeological museum.I will provide you the information you need to visit them. Other things to note In our village,where situated our villa,you can feel like a local.
