Winners of the 2023 Best Bed and Breakfast in the East of England, We can promise you a very wam and friendly welcome at Dairy Barns situated between the picturesque village of Hickling, between the waterways of the Norfolk Broads and the stunning coastline at Sea Palling, Waxham and Horsey Gap Seal Colony. Our fantastic breakfasts are worth getting up for with delicious local produce in our full english and amazing homemade waffles, along with delicious homemade cake on arrival. The space Swallows Nest really is something special with a fabulous upstairs bedroom on a open plan gallery where you can lay in your super king sized bed looking up to the stars which really sparkle in our rural part of Norfolk. Downstairs there is a spacious lounge with comfy sofa and flat screen TV/DVD player. You’ll love the stylish, convenient and easy-to-use Nespresso coffee machine – we think it produces an almost perfect cup of coffee! You have your own front door for complete privacy and a private court yard garden. In the room there is a fridge and glasses in case you want to enjoy a glass of wine or champagne. As an extra treat If you would like to have breakfast in your room we will happily bring a full English breakfast or homemade waffles to your door for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own lounge or maybe outside in the early morning sunshine on the deck in your own little garden. The extra special treat in Swallows nest is the bathroom, which is anything but average with a large sunken bath for two if you are feeling romantic, or for one with lots of bubbles, a good book and glass of wine! There is also a separate powerful shower. With his and hers sinks, luxury toiletries and soft fluffy towels and robes, it really is bathroom heaven. Along with clean and comfotable rooms we enjoy helping you make the most of your stay offering suggestions on places to visit and the best pubs and resturants to eat at. You are welcome to explore the paths on the farm where there is wildlife in abundance and simply enjoy getting away from the hussle and bustle of real life. We have horses on the farm all year and in the summer there are beef cattle and sometimes sheep on the meadows.
