A lovely, modern, well equipped, cottage - the perfect place to explore Sussex, the South Downs, Brighton, Ashdown Forest and much more. Also easy access to London by rail. A private garden with a gate direct onto Chailey Common, renowned for its heathland, wildlife and views of the South Downs. You can use the owners tennis court most of time. You also can have access to the owners table tennis and darts room. NO PETS PERMITTED. NO SMOKING The space The barn is well equipped - Smart TV, wi-fi, washer-drier, dishwasher, oven. Under-floor heating. Two bedrooms, one with double bed, and one with two single beds. Shower room. Lovely open living space with French windows onto your own attractive garden. Guest access Guests have full and private use of all of this detached bungalow, in a secluded spot, 30 yards/metres from the owners' house. Other things to note The owners, Fiona and Andrew, now have a (mostly!) grown up family. We built this bungalow in 2014 and welcomed our first guests in 2015. Heating, electricity, wi-fi, linen and towels all included in price. Under floor heating is via air-source heat pump outside, supplemented by electricity. It can be a little temperamental, and occasionally switches itself off (maybe four times last year) for no reason! But it is usually easily fixed. We live in a rural area, and the utilities are OK but out of our control. The wi-fi has much improved recently, and is now good. We get occasional power cuts during bad storms (torches are provided) but, again, a new electricity line has improved things. Mobile signal for several companies is weak, and you may occasionally need to go outside to find a signal.
