Located in the upper Vaucelles district (Montmartre Caennais) close to the train station, public transport (bus and tram) and a 20-minute walk to the historic center. Living room and open kitchen. The space My place is located on the right bank of Caen in the upper Vaucelles district. Access to the historic center is easy by bus (10 min) or on foot (a short half hour). The apartment is located in an inner courtyard, the private terrace is out of sight, sunny and above all quiet (opposite the street). Nearby you will find a bakery, pharmacy, tobacco bar and convenience store. Plus, every Saturday morning, 3 minutes' walk, the LEROY Boulevard market, traditional market with regional products Guest access I provide my guests with linens (sheets and towels), hygiene products. You will have access to all of my kitchen equipment and the essentials for your breakfasts. The room can accommodate 2 people (double bed) and you will find a sofa bed in the living room (1 large place). A side office will allow you to telecommute. A barbecue is also waiting for you on the terrace. Please let me know if you have any other requests, I will try to do my best. For your information, access to my apartment is via the terrace which is on the first floor, so you will need to climb a staircase and it is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Smoking is allowed (except in the bedroom). Free parking is available on all streets adjacent to the property (I rarely have trouble finding a spot). You will have at your disposal a "manual" of the house which explains how all the equipment works and gives you access to information that will facilitate your stay. I also provide tourist brochures on CAEN and on activities and attractions in the area. Other things to note Due to COVID-19, I will pay special attention to cleaning my place by applying the recommended hygiene measures. Cleaning of surfaces, handles, objects (remote control, etc.), kitchen equipment, condiments, etc. with the appropriate products. I've always used rubbing alcohol for cleaning. This product is recommended for disinfection. I will try, as far as possible, to provide you with hydroalcoholic gel, disposable tissues, liquid soap. The cleaning equipment (sponges) is changed at each rental, as well as the linens, which was already the case before the epidemic. I invite you, if you wish, to come with your own linens.
