Umwelthaus Treene

Our newly built, cozy holiday home (built in 1998) is located about 100 m from our bathing river Treene. It is located in the very quiet part of the historic old town and has been built with ecological building materials. The cottage has on the ground floor a large living and dining area and upstairs two bedrooms. The garden has a sunny south-facing terrace. Bedding and towels are included. There is a parking space on the street. The space The yard and garden are closed off by the annex and by large hedges around it. Special features: Friedrichstadt is an air spa with its North Sea climate. You can do canal trips here, visit the historic city monument, take mudflat hikes along the North Sea coast or visit the aquarium 'Multimar Wattforum Tönning'. Our vacation home( Bj. 1998 ) offers a central location for excursions. We will be happy to provide you with environmental information. Restaurants: We have numerous restaurants on the spot with German and international cuisine. All restaurants are within 10 minutes' walk. Shopping: There are four large supermarkets in Friedrichstadt. All are also within walking distance. In the pedestrian zone of our old town, there are numerous specialty shops available. Our weekly market is on Fridays in the market square. The merchants there offer very good and inexpensive goods. The market and pedestrian zone are about 5 minutes by foot from our vacation home. Guest access The property is an old town house with outbuilding and garden. All ares available for guests. Other things to note Friedrichstadt is a centrally located holiday and air spa on the 'Green Coastal Road' between the rivers Eider and Treene and houses five denominations. The city was founded in 1621 by Holländer and still has a historic old town with stair gables, cobblestones and canals. You have the option to ride a boat on this dreamy canal, bathe Treene or fish in fish-rich waters. The Stormstadt Husum, the Multimar Wattforum Tönning/Wadden Sea National Park, Schleswig with the 'Wickingerhafen' Haitabu or Tondern/Denmark are just around the corner of the country. Other activities: rowing, canoe, sup, river bath 50 meters away, Golf (Hennstedt 15 km) Golf: Two golf courses nearby (about 15 minutes by car) of our cottage. The old town area is very quiet with us and there is almost no car traffic - only local traffic.
