In a hamlet in the heart of nature, the vast stone house overlooks two valleys of Castagniccia, facing the majestic Mount San Petrone. This house with chestnut floors and lime walls is bathed in calm, light and freshness. The space The house is composed of 3 levels with a large fully equipped kitchen, 2 living rooms, 7 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 shower room, 3 toilets. The attic is furnished (large games room, sleeps 2, reading room and office). The interior is sober, high ceiling, floors or stone on the floor, white walls. With large openings, the house is very bright facing East, South and West. Two large terraces, to the east and south/west, with fruit trees, have views of the valley of chestnut and olive trees and Mount San Petrone. The village is close to La Porta, known for its beautiful church, bell tower and organ (available: post office, grocery store, 2 restaurants, 2 bars). We are 10 minutes from natural pools in the Fiumalto and 20 minutes from the sea (Folelli) where you can find all the shops (hypermarket, pharmacy, bakeries, pastry shops, hairdresser, gas stations, bank, post office, shops, medical offices, etc.) and seaside leisure activities (sailing, diving, etc.). From and near the village, there are possibilities for river activities (canyoning, fishing...), mountain and forest activities such as hunting, walking and hiking: Mount San Petrone (time: 4 hours to 2.5 hours of walking); Mount San Angelo, (time: 2 hours); the ridges; from one village to another, etc. There are also horse riding clubs in the mountains or by the sea and a golf course 30 minutes away. Many tourist attractions are accessible nearby: Pascal Paoli Museum in Morosaglia, Piedicroce convent, the waters of Orezza, the Ethnographic Museum in Cervione, the Museum of Corsica and the citadel in Corté, beautiful villages, Romanesque churches, etc. Located in the Castagniccia Regional Park, nature is rich in streams, olive and chestnut trees, and there are many breeders and farmers who offer charcuterie, cheeses, chestnut flour, olive oil and other local products. Guest access You will have access to the entire property and the outdoors (vast!), this rental being for 18 people. Other things to note The village is a cul-de-sac, so there is no danger for children who will have all the nature to play outside the private areas (terraces, natural boards...). The house is very well equipped for babies and small children (equipment, toys...). Available: a Corsican library (general literature, guide, road map...), board games and recreational games (bocce, ping-pong).
