Welcome to our Townhouse Retreat, a luxurious, quiet, self-catering accommodation located in the heart of the sunny South East and a gem of Co. Waterford. Our modern, bright but cosy home offers 2 double bedrooms, one twin (or double) finished to the highest possible standard. We do not charge cleaning fees and expect all guests to leave our house in the same condition they received it in. The space This is the ultimate escape for those who want to get away and relax in a beautiful house, while also enjoying the convenience of great restaurants and traditional Irish pubs on your doorstep. Relax while you sip wine and enjoy lunch al-fresco in the sun-filled walled courtyard, which is south-facing and sheltered. The modern kitchen has everything you and your family need to prepare delicious meals with quality appliances and as much quality glassware, crockery, cutlery and equipment as one would need. Dungarvan's many popular eateries have to offer just 2 minutes walk away. Our Townhouse Retreat is very convenient to bars, restaurants, shops, butcher, bakery, pharmacy and other facilities. For outdoor activities, the options are vast - golfing, fishing, swimming, cycling, windsurfing, kayaking, boat trips, foraging, sightseeing, hill walking, mountaineering, cycling, horse riding, walking, bird watching and painting. For indoor enthusiasts, art galleries, yoga, Pilates, and traditional music are a short walk away or try luxury spa treatments in a nearby renowned 5* hotel. One can simply partake in an Irish tradition of a relaxing pint of Guinness in the local pubs where you can enjoy meeting the most colourful of characters. We will have a full itinerary prepared for you on arrival for you to pick and choose from. We will meet you on arrival and offer some friendly local knowledge and will be at the end of the phone if you need any assistance. We want to make your vacation as easy as possible. The dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer are yours to use as you please. Bed linen is plentiful and a travel cot can be provided for a baby. We pride ourselves on hotel-quality beds and pillows. Fresh towels and some toiletries are provided. Tea, coffee, bread, cereals and condiments are all provided complementary so you don't need to run to the shops on arrival. Bikes can be rented in the town to explore the charms that the town and surrounding areas have to offer. Strictly NO DOGS or ANIMALS are permitted on the property. Nearby Attractions Enjoy the Waterford Greenway, a stunning cycle path from Dungarvan to Waterford. Ardmore: Enjoy the luxury of one of the finest hotels in Ireland, The Cliff House Hotel in Ardmore. It is 20 minutes journey away. it is the perfect spot to explore this lesser-known but beautiful corner of southern Ireland, close to Lismore and Youghal. For a hotel that’s part of Relais & Châteaux, the Cliff House is worth the trip. Also 20 minutes journey away is Lismore Castle, overlooking the eponymous town in West Waterford, which is built on a craggy precipice towering above the River Blackwater. Guest access The entire house and Courtyard are all yours for the duration of your stay Other things to note The house is located very near the town centre, therefore moderate traffic passes outside the door. One bedroom is located on the street side- this bedroom may be suitable for someone who is not sensitive to noise. Earplugs would be recommended if a light-sleeper is staying. The other two bedrooms are located to the rear of the property and noise is not an issue.
