The space Casa Fuerte Brazo is in Chan Chemuyil located on the Mayan Riviera between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. A short walk to Xcacel, a protected turtle preserve and public beach, quiet and pristine, and away from the resort crowds. Akumal Playa and Tulum are both a short colectivo (bus) ride away. Guests will have access to two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twins, as well as a double futon bed in the living room. There is a full kitchen, with spacious refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, purified water, and full compliment of flatware and dishes. Full bath. A private backyard where you can sit in seclusion under the palms. Or sit out front with beautiful view of the jungle. Chan Chemuyil is a collegial community, located in the heart of the Mayan Riviera. For local flavor, stop by the village of chan chemuyil just down the road, an authentic Mexican village with several restaurants, grocery shops, and laundromats, and there is much more to explore. Casa Fuerte Brazo is a short drive or bus ride to Akumal or Tulum, and is centrally located for easy access to water parks, like Xel-Ha and Xplor, ancient ruins at Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza, and several other great trips like exploring cozumel, the sian kaan bio preserve, cave-diving in the cenotes, and swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving with some of the most interesting sea creatures. If you are out there swimming its almost impossible not to see a sea turtle. Colectivos (buses) run regularly along rte 307 and can be flagged down; taxis are convenient and reasonably priced.
