Shedrock Shangrila is a Boutique Hotel located in Hopkins, Belize. A mere seven miles from the second largest barrier reef in the world, you can experience first class snorkeling, diving, fishing or exploring the many islands. All guests may enjoy the rooftop pool with breathtaking 360 degree views of the Caribbean and mountains. The hotel is only a few minutes from Hopkins village and the many restaurants. You can customize your stay by renting one room, multiple rooms or the whole home. The space Ocean Breeze is on the first floor. If you have guests with mobility challenges, this is a wonderful option as you do not have stairs to manage. There are two docks on the peninsula where many excursions can pick you up for marine activities (snorkeling, fishing, island hopping and the like). We recommend Happy Go Luckie Tours for snorkeling, fishing and bioluminescent when in season and Seemore Adventures for scuba. D-Golden tours we highly recommend as they will pick you up at the home for many of the excursions, are extremely knowledgeable and native Belizean. Guest access There is parking in front of the hotel and across from hotel. We have six complimentary bicycles. We also have two golf carts available for rent. You can arrange with the property manager. The village is a five minute drive where you will find many restaurants.
