This area follows statewide regulations for all hunting and trapping seasons for turkey, deer, quail and water foul. This area is recognized nationally as an Important Birding Area by the National Audobon Society and a High Priority Area by Ducks Unlimited, the WMA hosts up to 40,000 geese and 30,000 ducks annually. IMPORTANT NOTE: Cabins, in general, are not air tight. The Cabin is sprayed regularly and thoroughly by a licensed pest control company. However, you will encounter stink bugs and Japanese Beatles, that resemble ladybugs. These are invasive insects and even commercial spraying does not completely eradicate them. Expect to be in NATURE. Very rarely, harmless, small brown bats can squeeze through very small holes in the vaulted ceiling. If this happens, please contact the property management promptly, so we can safely trap and release it back into nature. WARNING- Again, this is a cabin OUT IN THE WOODS, and even with our quality wifi plan, reception is, at times, not quality as you would find in the city.
