Must inform property management 2 days before stay, so they can get them out of storage. •Wood pile for the fire pit (Wood availability depends on dry weather) •Gas grill and deck fire pit TWO small propane tanks are provided per week stay. Providing apx. 2 hours of use for each. INTERESTED IN HUNTING? This property neighbors the Cape Hill wildlife refuge. This area follows statewide regulations for all hunting and trapping seasons for turkey, deer, rabbit and water foul. This area is recognized nationally as an Important Birding Area by the National Audobon Society and a High Priority Area by Ducks Unlimited. The WMA hosts up to 40,000 geese and 30,000 ducks annually. It’s a spectacular sight to see during migration! IMPORTANT NOTES: Expect to be in nature. Very rarely, harmless, small brown bats can get into cabin. If this happens, please contact the property management promptly, so we can safely trap and release it back into nature. Bats are protected animals in the State of Kentucky. Cabins, in general, are not air tight. The Cabin is sprayed regularly and thoroughly by a licensed pest control company. However, you will encounter stink bugs and Japanese Beatles. These are invasive insects to our area and even commercial spraying does not completely eradicate them. If you have any concerns during your stay, please contact property management promptly.
