Grill on the charcoal grill as the sun sets behind the hills, or enjoy the peaceful Hill Country setting with a drink in hand. Pets are welcome, so feel free to bring your 4 legged family members! The space The entire waterfront home - The Red House is located upstairs to take full advantage of the incredible Canyon Lake views. You’ll have plenty of outdoor living space -both up and down. The upper deck offers breathtaking lake views with plenty of comfortable seating, while the lower patio also has ample seating and easy access to the BBQ pit. We’ve got a fenced yard that’s perfect if you’re bringing your dog along. A heads-up: the walk down to the water is long and steep. If you're planning to swim or fish, it’s a good idea to bring a foldable chair and a bag with everything you’ll need. We also recommend wearing water shoes or an old pair of tennis shoes for swimming. Guest access Walk to the water at our waterfront home! There is a boat ramp in our neighborhood just about a mile away. Unfortunately, this boat ramp is currently closed due to the low lake level. However, Boat Ramp 1, 2, 18 and 19 are open! Boat Ramp 1 and 2 are just a few miles away from the entrance to our subdivision and is also on the South side of the lake. It's the perfect place to launch your boat. The Canyon Lake Marina on the North side of the lake rents jet skis, ski boats, and pontoon boats by the hour. Canyon Lake has many delicious restaurants. Just text me for a list if the best spots! (Gennaro's , Elios, and Wildflour are all delicious! ) Other things to note Walk to the water at our waterfront home for floating, swimming and fishing! The Guadalupe River feeds Canyon Lake and has some of the best tubing, fishing, rafting and kayaking in Texas. It is located just minutes from our home. Many guests love to go tubing down the Guadalupe River at the Horseshoe. White tailed deer, foxes, roadrunners, and other wildlife are in abundance in the Texas Hill Country and especially at Canyon Lake. The Texas Hill Country is famous for its hilly terrain, live oak trees, limestone rocks, native animals, and clean fresh air. Great local attractions include: Canyon Lake, Canyon lake Dam, Guadalupe River, Canyon Lake Yacht Club, Canyon Lake Golf Club, Canyon Lake Gorge, Heritage Museum and Dinosaur Tracks, and Gruene Hall.
