Quaint 1925 cottage with large porches and lots of shade. Located in Historic Uptown San Marco within the city gates of St Augustine. Enjoy relaxing in our fully fenced yard and private outdoor retreat. An easy walk, Bike or drive to Old Town and the many local sites, Trolly, shops, pubs and restaurants. Easy access to the beaches. There is a lot to do in our historical city including many fun activities. Sample some of the best food from around the world in world class restaraunts. The space You have a large front porch and side screened porch so you can sit and relax in the rockers or at the table. Our home was recently redone and furnished for your comfort. High ceilings, large fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. We have furnished and equipped the cottage to easily accomodate 4. You have a fully equipped kitchen, including full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, full size washer and dryer, plus of course dishes, pots and pans, etc. Back yard is fenced. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and fenced back yard except for secured storage sheds and owner supply closet. We are pet friendly, however, We only allow pets that are house trained and well behaved. Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds. When requesting a stay or instant booking, please advise us whether you are bringing any pets, as well as breed and size. Other things to note We have street and off street parking and can accommodate 3 vehicles. The close proximity to town and the trolleys allows you to park your car once you arrive and not worry about finding parking or paying the expensive parking costs in town. Both the Green Trolley and the Red Trolley are in close proximity to the cottage. Both Trolleys offer passes for your stay with on / off privileges. These trolleys will get you to most locations in the city as well as to the beach. There are many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance down San Marco with several attractions within a few blocks (including The Old Jail, Oldest Store, Fountain of Youth, Mission Nombre de Dios (location of the arrival of the first settlers and Chapel and Shrine of Our lady of La Leche and the Rustic Altar which was the location of the first Catholic Mass). Old Town is an easy 15-20 minute walk down San Marco. Its approximately .7 mile to the City Gates and the Fort and all of the Historic District on St. George St and Downtown St. Augustine including the Cathedral Basilica of St Augustine.
