Family-Friendly Large House -Walk to Town & River!

Our house is located on the Mesa, the nicest part of Salida. The location is great for walking to downtown Salida, the Arkansas River, the Salida Golf Course, bike paths and parks. You’ll love our house because of the neighborhood, closeness to town, ample space, mountain views, and outdoor decks. This is a family-oriented rental and the property can comfortably accommodate two families or a large extended family. The fenced yard is perfect for little children to safely play. Premier property The space This house is perfect for us and our friends and family. It's more than 3,100 ft2 with plenty of room for large families. The kitchen opens to the family room, and the large bar area with two tall stools makes for a comfortable gathering space. With two tables -- one in the kitchen and another in the dining room, there is lots of dining space. The dining room table seats six, and the eat-in kitchen table four. The deck is off the kitchen -- easy access to food and drink. The deck features views of Tenderfoot ("S") Mountain and the surrounding hills. With no neighbors on 3 sides of the house, there is lots of privacy. The tall stucco wall fence which surrounds the back yard provides a safe area for kids to play. On the lower deck is a large, 4 burner natural gas Weber grill. There is an attached 2+ car garage with all kinds of storage space. Plenty of room for skis, snowboards, bikes, hiking/climbing gear and vehicles. With a wide, concrete driveway you'll have plenty of room for multiple cars, trucks, and SUVs. There is a second refrigerator in the garage also. The house includes high speed Internet service (300 Mbps) with the latest & fastest Wi-Fi router. We have a Bluetooth receiver with front, center speakers and a sub-woofer which is great for music, movies and watching TV including sports. There are two flat screen TV's in the house, each with an Amazon Fire stick which provide access to services such as Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime. The main level TV has DIRECTV service. The second flat screen on lower level is 60", again with streaming capabilities. Our house is a terrific property with very nice furniture, finishes and interior design. The master bedroom ceiling was painted by an artist -- she was on her back painting the scene for weeks. It's definitely a step above other short-term rental properties and is located on the Mesa in Salida -- the best area of town. Come and stay awhile! Enjoy all that Salida and the surrounding area have to offer. Guest access Entire home is accessible including attached 2+ car garage. Other things to note The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker. There is also a drip coffee maker and tea kettle. A flat screen TV in the upstairs family room has DirecTV service including all sports channels (ESPN, MLB, NFL, NBA). This television also has a Fire stick, allowing access to streaming services. The house has high-speed Wi-Fi for you to connect your devices to the Internet. There is a Bluetooth-enabled receiver on main level with 4 speakers. We have a rental agreement.
