This beautiful property, situated on the edge of Woodbridge just 50 metres from the River Deben, is the perfect cottage for couples or small families to enjoy time near the Suffolk Coast AONB and the pretty countryside. Sleeping three over two peaceful bedrooms and with space for your dog to join you, the whole family can come on strolls along Thorpeness Beach (19 miles) or explore the estate at Sutton Hoo (2.5 miles). The space And when it’s time to go home, you can relax in comfort among delightful rustic decor. The cottage has a cosy and welcoming feel with plenty of traditional features. The farmhouse-style kitchen is fresh and bright with a wonderful wood-beamed ceiling and lovely tiled floors; this flows through from the living area where an ornamental fireplace and comfortable sofa beckon you to snuggle up and watch your favourite show on TV or read a good book. Up the steep, cottage style stairs, the bedrooms add a tranquil feel to your stay; soft, neutral tones blended with pops of colour will help you drift off to sleep, waking up refreshed and ready for a day of adventure. Head into Woodbridge (0.5 miles) where there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes for you to refuel in, as well as a few shops and art galleries. For an invigorating walk, take the circular 4-mile Kyson Hill Marshes route that starts at the train station and directs you along the River Deben among marshes and mudflats. Your little one will love a trip to Easton Farm Park (9.5 miles) where they can go on a pony ride, hug a bunny or go on a train ride around the grounds. RSPB Havergate Island, accessible only by boat from Orford Quay (12 miles), also offers a unique day out among fantastic wildlife.
