Les Roches

Relax with family or friends at our home from home gite based in the rural hamlet of La Roche de Bord. We are in the Poitou Charente bordering departments of the Deux Sevres, Charente and the Vienne. We have a heated pool for lazy days at the gite or some amazing places to visit in the area, all within a short drive. For beach days La Rochelle is 119km / 1hr 40 drive and well worth a full days visit. We also have a few lakes not far for either fishing, kayaking or swimming. The choice is yours! The space Les Roches has 2 double bedrooms, 1 downstairs opposite the bathroom & 1 upstairs. There is a mezzanine above the lounge with 2 single beds & is a lovely space for teenagers. There is fitted kitchen in the open plan living area with fridge, microwave, t’assumons coffee machine, hob/oven, toaster, kettle, ironing board & iron, clothes horse. The lounge has a sofa & 2 leather chairs, a log burner, tv with Uk freeview & an Amazon fire stick with Netflix, Amazon Prime etc & french channels. Wifi, books & games are also in the Gite for guests entertainment. Guest access There is off road parking for 2 cars & there is a private front door for access to the Gite.
