The space Shenandoah Yurt sits high in the forest near Shenandoah National Park. It feels remote and private, but everything inside is designed for an easy, comfortable stay. WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP The yurt is most comfortable for four guests but can accommodate up to eight. • Two private bedrooms with queen beds • Loft sleeping area with a king sleeper sofa and privacy screen • Sleeper sofa in the living room • One full bathroom and one half bathroom INSIDE The central living area rises beneath the yurt's glass dome and includes a wood-burning stove, comfortable seating and panoramic forest views. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, Nespresso machine, coffee pods, snacks and fresh farm eggs. Entertainment includes a pool table, 75-inch TV, PS5 with four controllers, Sonos speakers, streaming services, board games and books. A dedicated workspace and Starlink WiFi are also available. OUTSIDE The elevated deck is surrounded by forest and includes a private seven-person hot tub, string lights and a propane grill. Guests can also enjoy archery, cornhole and the outdoor picnic area. The property is pet friendly and includes parking for up to five vehicles and a Level 2 EV charger. LOCATION The yurt is surrounded by mountain forest near Shenandoah National Park, hiking, wineries, Luray Caverns and the Shenandoah River. There is no cell service at the yurt. This is part of what makes the setting feel genuinely secluded. Starlink WiFi is available inside, and weak cellular coverage may be available near the community entrance. There is no cleaning fee. Guest access Guests have private access to the full yurt, deck, hot tub and designated outdoor areas. Other things to note REMOTE LOCATION There is no cellular service at the property. Save your arrival instructions before driving into the community. Starlink WiFi is generally strong but can experience brief interruptions because of the rural mountain setting. ROAD CONDITIONS The final mile is a gravel mountain road. Four-wheel drive is required during snowfall and may remain necessary for up to 48 hours afterward while roads are cleared. WILDLIFE The yurt is surrounded by wildlife. Food and trash must never be left outside. Please use the secured outdoor garbage enclosure and lock it after every use. PETS Pets are welcome with prior approval and a $50 pet fee. CHILDREN The property is child friendly but is not childproof. A crib, high chair and changing table are available. QUIET HOURS County quiet hours apply. Fireworks and loud outdoor music are prohibited. Please keep evening hot tub and deck use respectful of the surrounding community.
