Haveli Sujaan is one of the oldest mansion in Agra, fully revamped its interiors with modern amenities and keeping intact its ancient original architecture and curios!! It’s few kms away from Raja ki Mandi railway station and 7 kms from Taj. The biggest attraction of Haveli is experiencing the authentic culture of Agra, in home comfort, hosted by Mrs Rekha Singh, husband Mr Tarun Singh and our family patriarch Colonel( retired) RK Singh.Spacious terraces is a dream The space Haveli Sujaan ( named after my paternal grandmother ) is more than 150 years old "haveli". we have maintained its original grandeur with an eclectic style of traditional and modern. The Haveli is in the heart of stone market Gokulpura, 3 kms away from railway station- Raja ki Mandi, 7 kms from Taj and is one of the oldest locality of Agra with narrow twining lanes, street food, local market and fairs. we offer a complete authentic comfortable stay with homemade vegetarian food( on prior request and chargeable basis). Guest access Guests can access all parts of the Haveli on First Floor and Terrace. During your stay The host Mrs Rekha Singh is welcoming and interactive with guests. She understands English quite well though does not speak fluently but functional . You can call her or message her for smooth communication. Other things to note The bathrooms are on one side of the haveli and not attached to the rooms, just like it’s been hundreds of years back. Traditional methods of using buckets and mugs are there . Western toilets are there, sink and taps. Heating rod is used to warm water. Air conditioning is not provided as of now, each room has ceiling fans. Meal timings are: Breakfast: 9-10am Lunch: 1.30 pm- 2.30 pm Dinner : 8pm- 9pm Bed tea/ coffee is provided with prior information to Ms Rekha. Meals are provided on prior request 3-4 hours beforehand.via messaging to Mrs Rekha. Vegetarian meals are prepared and special item can be requested to the host. All meals are on payment basis to Mrs Rekha Singh. Since guests are served what they wish to eat, it’s advisable to ask the cost of each meal beforehand from Rekha ) Laundry is hand washed/ semi automatic washing machine by Mrs Rekha, please ask the cost of laundry per fabric before giving it to her for washing / ironing
