The space We, Julia and Andreas Koch, acquired this old farm at the end of 2017 and converted it with loving work into our beautiful country house in the Rinne Valley. Our aim was to preserve the regionally typical architectural style of a half-timbered house and to combine it with modern and family-friendly furnishings. It was important to us to also offer a place of rest for families with family members who have walking difficulties. In our country house in the Rinne Valley, parents and children can really go on vacation – in any weather. When the weather is good, there are many play opportunities on the outdoor area and when the weather is bad, you can really let off steam in our dwarf kingdom, an indoor fun room. But our country house has much more to offer… Guest access Accessibility: In order to be able to offer people with walking difficulties a barrier-free vacation, we have converted the first floor to be wheelchair accessible. In the spacious staircase there is a platform lift that people with walking difficulties can use free of charge. Our spacious apartment “Rotkäppchen” offers wide passageways and wide doors. In the spacious bathroom there is a large barrier-free shower with a handle and a large mirror. The toilet is elevated and has fold-down handles on both sides. The sink is wheelchair accessible. Shower stool free of charge on request. The outdoor play area: The outdoor play area is fenced and offers a true children's paradise with many playground equipment such as trampoline, swing, slide, sandbox, etc. Meanwhile, parents can see the little ones' play area from the balcony and enjoy their cup of coffee in peace. In the large courtyard, the children have the opportunity to ride around with various pedal vehicles (tractor, tricycle, scooter, etc.) or play ball. After an eventful excursion, parents and children can end the day on the large covered and illuminated terrace in the garden. Garden furniture and a grill are available for free use. At the seven dwarfs in the dwarf kingdom: The Dwarf Kingdom is a large indoor playroom with endless play possibilities for all ages. The room is accessible from both inside and outside or can be slid on :0) Here, young and old can romp and play to their heart's content. You can compete at the foosball table or bravely climb the climbing wall. You can slide or swing, crawl through tunnels or dive into the ball pit... or... or... The best thing is to explore the Dwarf Kingdom for yourself! The Wishing-Table In the "Wishing-Table" you will really find everything your heart desires. This room is located on the second floor and is freely accessible to all vacation guests. Here you will find books or board games that you can borrow for free and take with you to your vacation rentals. Or you can cuddle up on the sofa and browse through some books about our region or play a board game together at the big table. In a display case and in a refrigerator you will find many different seasonal country products from our region that you can purchase. There are, for example, delicious jam, fresh free-range eggs, our homemade "Ahle Worscht" [a local sausage], sweet syrup or honey, handmade natural soap or wines and schnapps for the adults and and and… In addition, in this room you can find out about the many leisure and excursion opportunities that are offered in our beautiful and varied region. Here you will find many flyers and information brochures, hiking maps, motorcycle and bicycle maps. The information material is provided free of charge. Cinderella's study In Cinderella's study you will find little helpers, which unfortunately you cannot always avoid even on vacation. A washing machine and dryer are available for use free of charge after adventurous excursions. Biker clothing, your laundry or even wet shoes or boots can be hung here on the clothesline to dry. In the garden there is also a clothes dryer, which can be used for this purpose. A garage is available for motorcycles. Other things to note Due to the proximity to the A7 highway, the country house is suitable for overnight stays. Travelers are welcome.
