Travel by golf cart or bicycle on our sandy native trails. Here, you will find no cars, no crowds or paved roads. North Captiva Island offers a small town impression with just enough amenities to suite your family needs. Guest would have access to our club pools, bikes, kayaks, tennis court and beach chairs. On island we all use Golf carts, walking, bikes, kayaks, paddleboard, ,planes and boats! Getting to the island: Traveling- Airport Access : ★ Ft Myers (RSW)- (36 miles to marina) ★ Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda (PGD)- (40 miles) ★ Sarasota (SRQ)- you will need to rent a car (90 miles) ★ Tampa (TPA)- you will need to rent a car (139 miles) To get to North Captiva Island, must take a Water taxi or private boat charter via Pine Island Marina. Directions to marina area for travel to North Captiva via Fort Myers, Tampa, or Sarasota: From South or North I-75: get off at exit 143 and go West. Follow Pine Island Road through Matlacha to the 4-way stop. Turn right (North) onto Stringfellow Road. Directions to Pineland Marina: The turn off for Pineland Marina is 3 miles North on Stringfellow Road. Turn left on Pineland Road (there are signs for Pineland Marina and Tarpon Lodge). Pineland Road turns into Waterfront Drive. Parking is available at Pineland Marina. Please check with the marina for current parking rates. Water Taxi to North Captiva : Reservations are required for all water taxi services. A list of water taxi options (scheduled group charters and private charters) as well as contact information will be provided after booking. Once you arrive on the island, our on island concierge will providing each guest with a meet and greet at the dock, tour of the island, transportation to the house with your luggage and assist with carrying all your belongings inside! Dockage is included at the nearby Safety Harbor Club wharf for $20.00 per day for use.
