Enjoy the unique treehouse built by Pete Nelson, the master treehouse builder! Located on the VA Creeper Trail and South Holston Lake, our treehouse is a marvelous opportunity to surround yourself in nature, high up in the Appalachian Mountains. This two story wonder has all necessities such as electricity, running water, and cell phone booster. It has one bedroom, a spacious bathroom with shower, two balconies: one on the second & one of the first floor, a kitchenette and living room! The Treehouse is located on a 104 acre wooded farm at the confluence of the Middle and South Forks of the Holston River. Bisecting our farm is the Virginia Creeper Trail which runs from Abingdon, Virginia to the top of White Top Mountain. There is one bedroom in the treehouse with a full bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, there is an outdoor balcony, a kitchenette with microwave and induction burner, and a living room area with extra seating. Newly installed ceiling fans keep the treehouse nice and cool in summer, while a gas fireplace with a thermostat controlled temperature keeps it warm on colder nights. Outside there is a patio area that has a table with chairs, and custom stone seating. A trail will give guests direct walking access to the Creeper Trail and river which are visible below. Guests will have access to the main treehouse, the playhouse, and river access along the VA Creeper Trail. I will greet guests to give them a tour of the treehouse, property, and answer any questions that they may have. The treehouse is located on a 104 acre forested farm along the South Fork of the Holston River and the Virginia Creeper Trail. It is a rural area of mostly farms, forest and rivers, however, the area is used frequently by hikers, bicyclists, fishermen, and boaters along the Creeper Trail and river. An automobile is the best way to access the property. Guests will need to drive up and down a gravel road that is accessible for cars as well as trucks and SUVs. Walking around the property will be required to get to and from the parking lot to the treehouses. Please note that there is no Wifi or TV in the treehouse, however we have installed a cell phone signal booster to help you stay connected. There is no AC in the treehouse but it usually stays cool being tucked away in the shade of the woods. We have multiple ceiling fans for cooling and a fire place to keep the place warm in cold weather.
