Little Ridge Ranch is located on a quiet country road lined with majestic Oak trees in the Marion County Farmland Preservation Area close to nearby natural springs and rivers, the World Equestrian Center and HITS. The space Little Ridge Ranch has 10 acres with two homes (some call them Luxury Cabins) on opposite sides of the property. As you enter the front gate and drive up the winding path through the massive pine trees you will find West House on the right. It has a huge screened front porch with a patio table, chairs and gas grill cooled by large wall fans for comfort on even the warmest days. The house is a beautifully furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with Stainless Steel appliances, and a built-in washer/dryer, (there is also an oversize sofa in the Living room which sleeps two) The living room has large screen Smart TV with Sling TV service and the ability to log on to your Netflix, Amazon Prime or other streaming accounts. In addition to the pool and exploring the property, we provide balls, board games and frisbees. There is also a Foosball table, horseshoe pit and hook and ring game. Kids as well as Adults will enjoy our donkeys, sheep, and chickens as well as our neighbors’ cattle and goats. Please feel free to walk and explore the property (just be sure to close the gates when entering and leaving the pastures or paddocks). Guest access You will have access to the entire house. Enjoy the star lit quiet nights around the fire pit. The rural roads offer a great place to walk, run or bicycle through the countryside. In addition to our chicken in their modern automatic coop we have sheep and donkeys, and our neighbors have cattle and goats. If you would like to bring your horses (check ahead for availability) we have 2 horse stalls, 2 large paddocks and a 6-acre pasture where you can ride or you may want to go to Goethe State Forest, the Trans Florida Greenway or other areas for riding close by. Other things to note Well behaved dogs are welcome anywhere on the property, we just ask that they stay off the furniture and don't bother the animals. Our Wally the cat is so nice, he roams the property and will likely stop by to visit during your stay but don't listen to him if he tells you it is ok that he goes inside the house! :-)
