2 BR/2 BA POINT PLEASANT VILLA. Nine Island Vista, is located at Point Pleasant on the East End of St. Thomas. You’ll love the tremendous views (you can see unobstructed views of nine islands from the 50' wrap-around private deck) and being able to walk to three beaches (pineapple, sugar, coki), an on-site fine dining restaurant & Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville resort & bar (our neighbor resort), and access to three pools. Ocean-level bar/grill now open with great happy hour specials. The space The villa is great for families. Sleeps 5-6. It is the entire top floor of a 3 unit building. There are 15 steps up the side of the building to access the ocean view front deck entrance. There are two bedrooms/2 baths, 1 bath has tub/shower combination. Located at the top of the hill affording breathtaking views of the ocean and 9 islands and cooled by gentle trade winds. Each bedroom has its own air conditioner and the great room is cooled by ocean breezes and fans, when needed. Fifty foot wrap around deck for true indoor to outdoor living . Open concept for plenty of space. Three flat screen tv's. Air conditioning in two bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen. Beach towels, snorkeling equipment, noodles provided. Guest access Free shuttle service to beach level pool/bar/restaurants/beach. Shoreline bar/grill is on the water and is quite good. They have a wonderful happy hour 3-5 with $4 rum drinks and 25% price appetizers. Currently the fitness room is waiting for new equipment, but should open soon. Fine dining is available on site at Mirador for lunch and dinner daily as well as Sunday brunch. There is also a restaurant at Margaritaville next door and food is also available at Coki Beach, all within walking distance. You can walk to three beaches--Sugar, Pineapple and Coki beach from there. My favorite beach is a 5 minute drive to Lindquist beach--beautiful beach with plenty of shade and never crowded. Taxi service is fast and easy . The villa is located 3 miles from the town of Red Hook where there are many nice restaurants and shops. The ferry to other islands is also located there. Other things to note Point Pleasant is a lovely Resort built into the side of a hill, affording breathtaking views of the ocean. The villa is privately owned and is not a part of the hotel, however, as my guest you are entitled to use of the resort amenities. There are some steep inclines and also steps involved in walking on the property. Some enjoy the workout but most avoid the exercise by using the free shuttle service to get around the resort. There are some gradual stairs down to the beach level pool/bar/restaurant/beaches that cannot be avoided. I have taken my 87 year old mother there and she has done fine with the steps.
