Charming cottage located in the town of Ocean Bay Park, just steps from the beach. Open floor plan living room with breakfast bar/kitchen. Bedroom on main floor, unique loft bedroom upstairs looking over living room. Bathroom with shower plus outdoor shower. Lovely deck with BBQ, outdoor seating. 5th house from the ocean—walk to the beach and if you need refreshments you'll be back at the cottage in 90 seconds tops. Bikes and beach chairs included. We're a family neighborhood--no parties please! The space On the first floor of the Cottage you will find the open kitchen and living room. You will also find the queen bedroom and bathroom with indoor shower. Up the staircase you will find the second bedroom with the two twin beds. You will also have your own private patio with lounge furniture in your backyard. The backyard will also have your bikes, outdoor shower, and BBQ. To access the Cottage, you will use the shared pathway which first passes by the front house before reaching the Cottage in the back. Please DO NOT ride bikes down the path as it is dangerous. You will also have access to the shared outdoor washer/dryer room, which is located in the shed in between the two houses up the small staircase. Please replace the rope during/after you use the staircase to the laundry room shed as it keeps the deer from getting on our deck and eating our flowers. Other things to note The Cottage is in the town of OCEAN BAY PARK, Fire Island. (The listing sometimes says "Ocean Beach" because there is only one postal zip code for our section of Fire Island and so Airbnb categorizes all of the nearby small towns as "Ocean Beach"). The Cottage accommodates a maximum of 4 occupants only. If we discover that more than 4 people are staying overnight at the Cottage, we will report this to Airbnb and charge a $500 per person/per night fee.
