Brugge's House of Friends “A Romantic Loftroom”

The House of Friends (since 2011 ) is situated between Vismarkt and Astridpark. An Exclusive Stay with the Smith family but still independent. The loftroom is on the top floor of the house with private bathroom and relaxing bathtub. The space With Renoir Canals, pointy gilded architecture and stay-awhile cafés, Brugge is a joy. Where else can you bike along a canal, munch mussels, drink fine monk-made beer , see a Michelangelo and savor heavenly chocolate, all within 300 yards of a bell tower that rings out "Don't worry be happy" jingles? And there is almost no language barrier. Rediscovered by modern-day tourists, Brugge thrives. This uniquely well preserved Gothic city is no secret. The House of Friends is a 17th- century townhouse, beautifully renovated, in the city centre next to the Astridpark and in 10 min. walking distance from the market square. We offer a romantic studio room under the roof (sorry only steps and no elevator possible) with seperate bathroom and bathtub. Microwave, sink and fridge next to the foodarea with sitting place and table. Breakfast is not included but can be provided for on demand or we can reserve a table at one of the breakfast lounges nearby. Check-in time is at 2 PM or sooner if room is available. When arriving by train you can take bus nr 6 or 16 and get off the bus at the Fishmarket. This will only take you 10 min from the station. In walking distance it would take you half an hour. CableTV and high speed internet are available. Breakfast and the best table for fine dining in one of Bruges many restaurants or bistro's can be reserved. Private guided walking or biking tours in to the country side, boat tours on the canals or horse-drawn cabs are available on demand. Foot Reflexology & Natural Therapy is also available in our Natural Therapy Centre at The House of friends. City taxi Brugge is € 4 per person per night Chantal and Robert, an outgoing Belgian-Australian well travelled couple, and their daughters will be more then happy to welcome you. Guest access The loft room with private separate bathroom with bathtub is entirely at your disposal. It's a great space with lots of natural daylight and very comfortable. Unfortunately there is no elevator. Tea, coffee, microwave and a breakfast bar are in the room to make your stay even better. Other things to note Check-in is very easy with locker box if we are not at home to welcome you.
