Our luxury glamping cabins are fully furnished and have everything you need to stay comfortable, including beds with foam mattresses, bedding and towels, kitchenette, comfortable outdoor furniture, hammock, grill, and more. The space With this Luxury Glamping Cabin rental, you and your guests will enjoy the beautiful scenery and peacefulness of Son’s Blue River Camp, which sits on the San Marcos River with its blue spring water and majestic tree studded banks. Sit ‘round the campfire at night and gaze at the big, bright, Texas starry sky! We are surrounded by large ranches which makes for a great outdoor get away from it all experience! Son's Blue River Camp is a fun, relaxing property located on the gorgeous San Marcos R. with 44 cabins, 36 Cabanas as well as tube & kayak rentals. Guests from all over the state come to enjoy the spring-fed, blue water of the San Marcos R that has a consistent good flow, great fishing & is perfect for tubing & kayaking! The property is clean & well maintained & run by a friendly, professionally staff. Our glamping cabins have everything you need to be comfortable while enjoying the outdoors. There are 40 Luxury Glamping Cabins in total, #’s: 1-16 come with: 1 queen sized bed with foam mattress, 1 twin day bed with an additional twin mattress available upon request. They also feature a kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker, hot plate with pots and pans and blender. We do not provide silverware and dinnerware, so be sure to bring these. Linens and towels are provided in our Luxury Glamping Cabins. For inside entertainment and relaxation, Guests will find a smart TV and DVD player. Outdoor amenities include: comfortable wicker seating, hammocks, fire-pits, BBQ pits, picnic table, outdoor lighting, water and electricity. We also have 24 Luxury Glamping Cabins #’s A – Z which are similar in every way but have 2 queen beds instead of the daybed. Be sure you are booking the type you want! The unique design of our Luxury Glamping Cabins allows you to open up the entire front wall to enjoy an indoor/outdoor living experience, perfect for eating, relaxing and reconnecting with your friends and family. There are three 5-unit bathroom trailers by our glamping cabins (15 full bathrooms in total with hot showers) for your use. Guest access Our Glamping cabins are located on a hill overlooking the river bottom and it is a quick walk to the river. Guests can explore and use the many amenities of Son's Blue River Camp, including chairs and umbrellas along the riverbank, the many hammocks that stretch along the property, the sand volleyball court, campfires, and much more. There are 15 private full bathrooms with locks located directly behind the Glamping cabins. You can park and temporarily unload in your cabin and then park in the parking lot behind the Glamping Cabins. Other things to note Son’s Blue River camp also rents Riverside Cabanas that can be added to a guests stay but it’s best to reserve ahead of time as we are normally full every day in the summer and most weekends. Cabanas are available from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and come with picnic table, BBQ pit, comfortable outdoor wicker furniture, water and electricity. Cabana rentals are extra, though Cabin guests may use picnic tables, lounge chairs and umbrellas down by the water free of charge. We also rent tubs and kayaks. We have another location 2 miles up river which is our tubing/kayaking put in. Shuttles run back and forth during the high season every day and most weekends during the off season (we do not run shuttles in the winter however and shuttles must be scheduled ahead of time). Our section of the river is very family friendly and has no dangerous dams or rapids. It’s a great place for beginners to kayak and just about anyone can tube. We provide free life jacket use for non or weak swimmers.
