When buying your ferry tickets, you should also book the tram which will transport you from the ferry drop-off point to the house. The address is 8 Racerunner Ct Once at the house, you will have use of a 6 seater golf cart that you can use for the duration of your stay. Just remember to plug the cart into the charging port in the garage and you should be all set!! Emergency contact information will be provided prior to arrival Nestled into a cozy cul-de-sac, the house gives you the ultimate privacy while still being steps away from the beach (access is at the end of the street) The BHI club is a quick 3-5min cart ride away — giving you access to pools, three restaurants, gym and an amazing golf course. The local market is about a 10 min cart ride away, but you should be set up with the essentials in the house on arrival. Walk to the beach is about 7-8 min depending on your walking speed :) Bald Head Island is unique in that you leave your car on the mainland. The ferry runs every hour from Southport. You’ll have to call ahead to book an initial transfer by tram (electric vehicles operated free of charge). Address for booking tram will be provided in check in instructions Once at the house you will have a 6 seater golf cart that you can drive around the island. Pool and gym are available to renters upon purchase of guest access to BHI club. The house comes with membership to the BHI Club. That said, guests need to purchase guest access for a nominal fee.
