Winter activities include ice skating, skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling and ice fishing. Natural wonders of the area include fly fishing in Silver Creek, Craters of the Moon National Monument, hiking on five mountain ranges, thirty miles of paved hiking and biking trails, and year-round ice skating The space The unit includes a full kitchen, a queen sleeper sofa and two bathrooms. The area-wide Mountain Rides shuttle stops within waking distance. Zenergy, an upscale athletic facility in the Thunder Springs townhouse, is just across the street with outdoor hot tub, two swimming pools, and yoga for daily drop in fees. The area offers a free shuttle that picks up a few blocks away which will transport you to both ski lifts on Bald Mountain, downtown Ketchum, Sun Valley Resort and Elkhorn Resort. Other things to note Bigwood Condominiums is situated alongside the Bigwood Ski Touring Center and Golf Course, which offers 15 miles of trails. For downhill enthusiasts, Sun Valley offers Dollar Mountain for beginners and Bald Mountain for more advanced skiers. Summer activities include golf, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, bicycling, ice-skating, river rafting, and sightseeing. The YMCA Community Center is within walking distance and offers free access to a pool, gym, and other activities. There are many good restaurants in the area.
