The space Situated on half an acre with Oleander privacy hedges along the front and a fully fenced, private backyard, you feel tucked away in your oasis but close enough to everything. Quaint and friendly, walkable neighborhood. We curated our space with unique pieces from all over the world to create a peaceful feeling that inspires relaxation. The meditation + yoga room is beautiful for morning coffee, yoga, or lounging on indoor swing chairs. Walk the large yard with mature Olive Trees or lay on a lounger to take in the beautiful skies (day and night). Outdoor seating allows you to dine al fresco and enjoy the cozy firepit in the evening. You'll want to stay in the backyard but you know you should get out and explore the beautiful desert! Do not miss going to Joshua Tree National Park, breathtaking and fun! The desert can be extremely windy. We are not responsible for weather, sand storms, etc There may be leaves or sand at times in the pool. We do not call emergency maintenance out for this. We have a pool vacuum and a net skimmer for your use. *Pool is gas heated for a fee per day. 2 day minimum. We need 48 hr advance notice to begin heating in winter. - $150 Nov-March - $100 April-Oct The hot tub is year-round, no charge. Propane tanks for the BBQ can be swapped if needed at the corner store. This is a great place for family/friends to gather but we DO NOT allow Loud Parties. While you enjoy full privacy we still have neighbors, please be mindful during your stay, 10 pm - 7 hi desert quiet hours. Low music on small Bluetooth device or cell phone. No large devices, decks, speakers, turntables etc allowed. If there is a noise complaint you will need to be removed from the property without refund. Please note all homes in the hi-desert are on delicate septic systems. Personal care items, paper towels, kleenex, and wipes, cannot be flushed in the toilet. Guest access 4 cars allowed in driveway in front of the garage. No overnight street/offsite parking Parking in the sandy part of front yard is NOT allowed. Other things to note Welcome to the hi-desert, it's beautiful and wild, with rabbits, snakes, birds, bees, cactus, wind, sun, sand! Please be safe outdoors and respect nature. Weather and animals are beyond our control. Keep doors closed to keep critters out. The desert gets windy! Wind gusts and sand storms are common and can bring on a lot of sand and debris around the yard and in the pool at times. We have a remote vacuum we can instruct you on how to use as a pool tech will not be available on short notice. You'll want to bring personal items inside, pool toys away and sun umbrellas rolled down at night. The pool is not typically heated, but can be for a seasonal charge just ask :) Pool maintenance is on Monday and Friday mornings. Trash pickup Monday morning. If you have a longer stay you will want to take the cans to the curb so your trash can be hauled away. ALL homes in the hi-desert are on delicate septic systems. Personal care items, paper towels, kleenex, wipes, cannot be flushed in the toilet. This can clog, make water pressure slow, etc please be mindful! CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Trash, bagged, and placed in proper bins outside. Only cans in front of house are for trash pick up. 2. Shut/lock windows and doors. 3. Dishes cleaned or in dishwasher running. 4. Start one load of pool towels. Gather bath towels and set in laundry room. 5. No need to strip the beds, leave used throw blankets on the beds. 6. If the fire pit/fireplace/grill was used, please clean up remnants (food) and debris, cover grill. 7. Turn off hot tub, put patio furniture back, umbrellas down and clean up any outdoor trash.
