Private studio with private entrance & 3/4 bath. Scenic country setting leaves you feeling far from the city bustle, while only being a matter of minutes outside downtown Issaquah or Maple Valley. Although not large, it’s well-appointed, designed to feel like home. Experience the Northwest charm & character of beautiful antiques, with conveniences of today. Comfortable king, day or 2 twin beds. Issaquah/I-90 5.7 miles, Maple Valley 4.6 miles. Many hiking/biking trails nearby. Paragliding 7 mins The space Private and inviting cozy Guest suite is located up a staircase with a private entrance. While connected to our home it is not over our living area so it feels very private. It has a private 3/4 bath and is separate from our living space. New flooring and rugs throughout. The perfect welcoming and well-appointed space to make your home base while you explore the picturesque places that are in abundance in this area. One of the most important things to us when we travel is finding a place with a comfortable bed so we sleep well. This was foremost in our minds when designing this space. The room can be configured to either a king size bed, or a day bed or two separate twin beds. If traveling alone and you’d like a more spacious area, we recommend the day-bed/twin configuration. Each bed will have a body friendly Tempur-Pedic mattress topper. Room accommodates 2 adults. Let us know your bed configuration preference king, day bed or 2 separate twins and we’ll have it all ready for your arrival. Special touches throughout to add a little something extra to your stay, luxurious linens, rare hand painted dishes from Southern Bavaria, cut crystal glasses and cut crystal ice cream dessert dishes. Beautiful dressers from the 1800’s, custom window treatments, custom tile work in the bathroom, wood inlay furniture from Sorrento Italy, lovely, serene country scene painting from the early 1900’s painted on a textured antique card table, to name only a few of the unique items found in the space. There is a Keurig K-Elite Coffee maker which makes both iced (ice is provided in the freezer) and hot coffee. The Keurig pod holder is well stocked with a quality assortment of coffees. In addition to the Keurig there is a French Press and a coffee bean grinder in case you want to bring your own favorite beans. There is also an electric hot water pot for the French Press or if you prefer teas and there is an assortment of teas. The refrigerator is a mid-size, larger than a mini. Includes a nice size freezer section with an ice tray and ice bin. It has a well laid out refrigerator interior. Including a fresh veggie and fruit drawer. A canned drink dispenser etc. Well placed power strips with multiple USB charging ports and power outlets throughout the room, (extra iPhone and micro-USB charging cables in case you forget yours). No hunting behind the bed for that one needed outlet to plug something in. If you are coming to town for a formal event, wedding etc. and will have formal attire please let us know in advance and we will provide a portable height adjustable clothes rack and hangers for hanging your articles on. Otherwise, there are hangers and places to hang clothes throughout the space. There is a comfortable fully adjustable office chair in the space for use at the desk if you're coming to work. Others prefer to sit in the big comfortable rocker under the beautiful natural light from the skylight overhead to work. Guest access Free parking outside at the foot of the stairs leading up to the room. Well lit stairway with a combination of motion activated and dawn to dusk lighting for using the stairs during low light times of day or night. There is a sitting area down at the foot of the stairs. Other things to note We’re 7 minutes from Paragliding off of Tiger Mt. There is an abundance of hiking, fishing and biking trails nearby. Ski Resort featuring night skiing 27 miles, Seattle 19 miles. Ample opportunities to get back to nature and unwind. Just the place If you're tired of the hustle and noise of the city. An assortment of lakes in the area and we'll provide a picnic basket if you'd like to go on a special outing. Just ask about the picnic basket and we'll leave it in your room for you to use during your stay. Don't worry about bringing bottled water as the water out of the tap is excellent as is typical in our area known for it's pristine water sources. We're situated between both Issaquah 5.7 miles and Maple Valley 4.6 miles. Both have grocery shopping and restaurants. There is a Costco in Issaquah. Lots of shopping and an assortment of great dining. There is a Laundromat in town, in either Issaquah or Maple Valley. There is a nice white noise maker and a fan if you prefer some background noise to sleep. The white noise machine provides an assortment of sounds, ocean, rain, white noise, etc. Bluetooth enabled surround sound for the TV or your personal music list.
