Guests will enjoy the City Central location of this nicely updated home a short walk/drive to many great destinations. Just 2-3 blocks to the Chippewa River, Half Moon Lake and Beach. If you are here as a patient or visitor to Luther Hospital/Mayo Health, the location could not be better. There are many Pubs and Eateries a short distance from the house. The fenced yard and deck railing give an added sense of privacy and security. If you identify as "Tourist" or "Transient" beware the CITY! The space Nicely updated (not new, not perfect) vintage home with approximately 1200 square feet of space to relax and enjoy, features 2 bedrooms and 3 comfortable beds. 2 queen beds, one in each of the bedrooms and a full size bed set up in the sitting room that has an open doorway to the living room and another to the kitchen. There is a brand new (2023) full size couch with dual recliners and flip down center console and dual recliner love seat with center console and brand new (2023) American Standard 3-ton Central AC unit and brand new (2023) 30x60 walk-in shower. Bedroom #2 has a Queen bed and a baby crib. The large eat-in kitchen has a new south facing window, new plank flooring, fresh paint, new hardware, plenty of space for prepping meals, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig (with K-cups), drip coffee pot, toaster, toaster oven, dishes, pots, pans, blender, mixer with bowls, utensils, herbal teas, snacks, quick foods, condiments, Farmhouse table with 8 chairs, etc.. There is also a fully functioning laundry room, a new (2023) 65" SONY Smart TV with Goo-gle TV in the Livingroom and a 32" TV with ROKU in bedroom #1. We also provide High Speed Wi-Fi Internet for all your devices. This home, although it has many updates, is old and has what some would perceive as flaws. It is not perfect and some floor areas especially show signs of wear and tear and some trim is yet to be installed. You may see a spider or a cobweb from time to time. We do our best to keep the space clean, comfortable and fully functional. If you are looking for perfection, this may not be for you. Please look at the pictures and read the reviews. We are not trying to hide flaws or mislead anyone. We fully believe we are providing great value to travelers who arrive in EC for a variety if reasons and most of our guests are quite happy with the space and its many amenities. We will continue to make improvements to the space as time goes on, so you may arrive to find something new or improved that is not yet pictured. P.S. there are a lot of squirrels frequenting the area due to the beautiful Black Walnut tree on the south side of house. There is also a quiet upstairs tenant so please be respectful. Guest access The space includes the entire lower unit, the lower deck, fenced yard and half of the driveway. The key lockbox is on the hinge side of the door jam of the back door on the deck by the driveway which is accessed through the alley between Mappa and Bellinger Streets on the 1400 block. Other things to note If you have an issue with the space or amenities, please contact me ASAP. Please do not wait until you checkout and then leave a negative comment regarding something that could have been easily corrected with a bit of communication. We are doing our best to make the space as functional and comfortable as possible at an affordable rate. Your prompt feedback regarding any shortcomings helps us to keep it stocked and ready.
