This home is secluded and nestled in the trees, yet only minutes from downtown Woodland Park. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom upstairs also has a king bed, the downstairs room contains one queen bed, and lastly, the fourth bedroom contains 2 trundle (4 twin) beds. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are open concept for gathering with friends and family. Step outside to the back porch and you get a direct stunning view of Pikes Peak mountain, hence our homes name “Pikes Peak Retreat”. The upstairs master bedroom has a balcony with seating and a propane fireplace on the deck which also has a view of the trees and mountains. Enjoy your free morning coffee on either deck and soak in the sunrise over the mountains. You might even catch the deer grazing in the yard in the mornings. In the evenings you can also watch the sunset while sitting next to one of the three fireplaces we have outside. Either roast marshmallows around the wood burning fire pit or the propane fireplace on the lower deck while cooking dinner on the propane grill, all while watching the sunset over the trees and Pikes Peak Mountain. In the dining area we supply several board games to also have fun with family and friends inside. The welcoming living room is equipped with cozy throw blankets, speakers, a smart TV, and lighting behind the TV for a movie-theater feel. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home and three acres of land during their stay Other things to note An all-wheel-drive, 4x4, an SUV, or chains on 2WD vehicles will be needed during the snowy winter months since there is a dirt road in the neighborhood. See photos for more details. The snow is plowed same day and usually melts down within a day or two. Reminder: This is a mountain town, so there will be changes in elevation when driving. This is a no-smoking home inside and outside.
