The space The grass roofed, stone floored property is an extension to the main building and has been built in the last 5 years. Air to air heater is the heat source, with the addition of a fan heater for a quick boost on chilly days. Guest access There is on the road parking and a public footpath runs around the perimeter of the building, leading into Stromness or a coastal walk to Scapa Flow. There is a bus stop 5 minutes away from the property with hourly buses running into Kirkwall. The public footpath takes you into Stromness which has a ferry terminal for travel to Graemsay, Hoy and Scrabster. Other things to note The floors are stone, except for the carpeted bedroom. You may need indoor footwear as the stone floor can be chilly in colder weather. It is said that Orkney can have four seasons in one day.
