Please Note (warm season only): The property is located next to water (just 20 feet away), so you'll experience more natural elements, including bugs. There is plenty of parking. NEARBY There is a restaurant attached to the marina that is within walking distance but a vehicle is highly suggested for travel. There is a Dollar General located 5 min away just in case you need anything. (:🧘‍♀️ Other things to note 🏡 AMENITIES Check-in / Check-out Process: Check-in: 4 PM or later Check-out: 10 AM We ask for a 10 AM check-out to allow for cleaning between guests. Feel free to reach out if you need help with the check-in process. Wi-Fi: Login details are available in the binder at the house for easy access. 🌅 LARGE FRONT PORCH: Relax on the front porch with a sectional couch, perfect for outdoor breakfast or enjoying the beautiful Lake Erie weather. 🌊 BACK PATIO: Enjoy the back patio with a large sectional couch, outdoor chairs, small table, Blackstone grill, fire pit, and hot tub. Perfect for watching the canal and fishing! (Fishing rods and tackle available for use.) 🍴 FULL KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, bakeware, utensils, toaster, blender, grinder, and more – everything you need to cook your favorite meals. ☕ COFFEE & TEA: Start your day with our French press or traditional coffee pot. We also offer green tea, Lipton tea, whole bean decaf coffee, whole bean Columbian coffee, and sugar. 🍷 WINE: Enjoy local wineries and breweries – we provide wine glasses, wine opener, wine stoppers, bottle opener, and ice trays in the fridge for your convenience. 🌳 LARGE YARD AND BALCONY: Relax outdoors on the front/back patios or balcony, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. You might even spot fish jumping in the canal or a beautiful sunset! 🔥 BLACKSTONE GRILL: Enjoy cooking on the Blackstone grill with grilling utensils provided. (Plan to pick up propane at Dollar General, just down the road.) 🔥 FIREPIT: Unwind by the cozy campfire. Chairs and poker sticks are provided. Firewood is not included. 🚣 CANAL ACCESS: Kayak from the backyard canal into Sandusky Bay and explore nearby natural parks. We provide 4 kayaks: 1 sit-in kayak and 3 fishing kayaks, each for one person. 🛁 HOT TUB: End your day with a relaxing soak in the 4-6 person hot tub on the back patio. Please inquire about availability, as it’s not available in harsh weather conditions or during the winter season. 🚣 KAYAKS: Kayak in the backyard canal, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Note: Guests must sign an equipment liability waiver prior to use. No exceptions. Kayaks are unavailable during harsh weather or winter season. Please inquire about availability before booking. 🎲 GAMES / ACTIVITIES: Outdoor sports in the large yard, or enjoy an indoor game night with the variety of games provided. 📺 STREAMING SERVICES: Amazon Prime Video Netflix Gaia (Please reach out if you experience any issues with the streaming services – we're happy to help.) CENTRAL COOLING & AIRFLOW: We’re excited to offer full central air conditioning throughout the home! With the new upstairs extension in place, you’ll enjoy much better comfort across all levels. That said, a few tips to make the most of it: Cool air naturally drops, so the basement will be coolest, the main floor comfortable, and the upstairs slightly warmer, especially on hot days. To help with airflow, please keep the stairway door open and feel free to use the fans provided upstairs (2 portable + 1 ceiling fan). The system is pre-cooled before your arrival, but in extreme heat, it may need some time to fully circulate. To protect the system, please avoid setting the thermostat more than 10–15°F cooler than the outdoor temperature. This keeps everything running smoothly without overworking the unit. 🌿 LANDSCAPING CARE: Our beautiful yard is maintained weekly—usually on Thursdays, though this may shift with the weather. If you’re home during mowing, the lawn care team might kindly ask to move anything left in the yard. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the outdoor space fresh and welcoming! Important Notes on Hot Tub & Kayaks: Due to safety and unpredictable weather, please confirm with us prior to booking if the hot tub and kayaks are available during your stay.
