This cozy cabin is perfect for couples, a small family or friends. The home is perfectly positioned for everything the Poconos has to offer: 10 miles to Jack Frost/Big Boulder (epic pass), 10 miles to Camelback (ikon pass), hike Hickory Run State park or just stay in grill a meal, roast s'mores, cozy up and stream a movie or play your favorite board game. The best apres ski is at Lake Naomi Club:) Temp membership may be purchased from LNC for 7+ nights (bar, restaurant, hottub, gym, pool). This cozy 950 sqft cabin has 2 bedrooms (each has a Queen bed) with a sleeping loft (2 Queen beds). The loft is accessed by a "ships ladder" which may not be suitable for all guests. The kitchen is small but well stocked with all the basics, salt, pepper, oil, spices, baking trays and pans. We also have a waffle maker, drip and keurig coffee maker, milk frother. This historic home has been renovated from top to bottom, yet retains many historic characteristics including a ships ladder to the loft. The bathroom was our most recent renovation, including replacing the old cast iron tub and a new dishwasher. We also added radiant heat floors in kitchen/bathroom! We have a Breeo "smokeless" firepit with 4 Adirondack chairs and a hammock for lounging at the front, as well as a classic front porch with Polywood rocking chairs. On the back deck there is an outdoor dining table and a gas grill. We have 1gig high speed internet for anyone working from home, schooling remotely or simply streaming videos/playing video games. We have a Smart TV, netflix, Hulu, HBO, Disney apps, and xbox console. Amenities such as lake, beaches, pool are not on site. They are part of Lake Naomi club and guests may access these amenities with additional payment to lake Naomi. Only stays 7+ nights are eligible for Lake Naomi amenities per their rules- we wish there was flexibility on this, but their rules not ours! For groups wishing to access Lake Naomi amenities: our home is good value but the cost of LNC is high! It is the only Platinum club in the poconos and costa $310 per week per family in low season and $475 per week per family in high season (summer). The longer the temp membership the better value LNC gets. For stays 6 weeks to 52 weeks the price for a family is about $1600. Each home is limited on how many temp memberships may be accessed each year, check with us before booking so we can confirm availability. They charge a “rush” fee if $50 for temp membership applications submitted less than 2 days in advance. There is room for 2 cars to park at the back of the home. You will be supplied with a keyless access code which will work on the BACK door. Although we're just a text or call away, this space is private for you, we're not planning on stopping by unless you need something! Pocono Pines is a small community inclusive of vacation homes as well as permanent residences. Neighbors to the East and West are similarly small Airbnbs. In fact, if you’re looking to house a larger group in multiple small homes we may be able to coordinate with one of our neighbors. You should find this neighborhood to be calm and quiet. The cabin is 15 minutes to Camelback, Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski hills, Kalahari Aquatopia and H2O waterparks, Mount Airy Casino, the Pocono Raceway and many wonderful State parks. The home is about a block from the private lake, Lake Naomi (5 minute walk to West beach). Lake Naomi Club is a platinum resort community; access to the lake and amenities requires application and fees paid directly to the club (LNC temporary memberships are minimum 7 days and must start on a Saturday). You'll get the most out of this area with a car. Although one could arrive by Martz bus and Uber/taxi to this home, we believe having a car would optimize your ability to enjoy the surrounding areas. Uber are typically available but the region is not densely populated and you may need to wait for your ride. There is an Enterprise car rental facility 4 miles away.
